  1. Hi, I'm trying to get into game streaming and I'm starting to realize my 4 year old gaming laptop isn't able to cut it. I plan on selling it and buying a desktop (not for gaming, just streaming and editing the clips). I found a good deal on a Asus VivoMini i7-7700 with 16gb Ram, 500gb SDD for $650CAD refurbished I'm also looking at the Dell Inspiron 3670 i5-8400 with 12gb Ram, 1TB HDD for $650CAD new. I wanted to build but pricing it out, I can't build something for these prices. Both these CPUs are pretty much on par with each other. Plenty of power to encode gameplay footage. But what about editing my gameplay clips with Adobe Premiere? I would need a good GPU correct? Both use Intel's 630 HD Integrated graphics. Possibly good enough to get by for now right? The problem with the Asus is it's a mini computer, no PCIe x16 and no room to put in a graphics card. The Dell (from what I've read) it does have a PCIe x16 but a weak power supply and the case is too small for something like a GTX 1060 So I'm leaning towards Dell keeping in mind if I ever wanted to upgrade, I would need a new case and power supply. Both these PC's don't fit 100% of my needs but funds are tight. What are your thought on which PC? Or should I wait for Black Friday? I'm not in a rush.
