    I've seen some videos with cool / relaxing / amazing Desktop workspaces and I was wondering if any of you want to show off the whole setup I'm trying to gather ideas since I want to change my messy workspace into something relaxing, looking into ambiance lights, wooden desk and all that!

    Things I wish I knew: You just can't go wrong with your first language, literally pick any, didn't like it? Then jump to another after learning its basics! Upon watching a few language-specific courses (I suggest Udemy), go watch some courses on: Data Structures and Algorithms, don't wait too long Books are much better than video courses, buy an e-reader Aside from job interviews, Leetcode is actually helpful and you can begin with easy questions

    The game was Dead Space Remake (2023) I'm not sure if it was the AA or the TV upscaling, but he had set 1440p resolution and it looked sharp.

    A couple days ago I was watching my cousin play a game at 1440p in a 4k TV, I swear to god we couldn't tell a noticeable difference between that and native. Truth be told, It was a 4K 55" TV standing like 10 ft from us, but our opinion on sharpness didn't change when temporarily looking at it from 5 ft. So I'm confused... why did it look sharp if the 4K TV was displaying 1440p ???

    My girlfriend is looking for two 1080p monitors, is 27" is decent for general productivity and gaming or does it look pixelated? We also wonder, do dual curved monitors make sense or should we look for flat monitors?

    60 Hz is very likely still the most common refresh rate to play at. I just gave it a shot for an hour, everything looked blurry whenever I moved my camera, couldn't focus a thing Could it be that most people just got used to that blurriness? Once you go 120+ Hz is so hard to go back...

    @191x7 Updated it, in terms of performance I still don't know if anything changed. But my CPU is running a bit cooler now It used to be at 75c while playing that game, but now it's at 65c to 70c

    Hmmm that actually makes sense, yeah I probably got 70s before capping but didn't notice, I just didn't expect the FPS range to be that big 70 to 130 I have the F62 BIOS which is the latest stable version, yes for the chipset drivers

    I've been playing Dead Space Remake, I tried to leave the FPS uncapped and I was getting anywhere between 100 to 130 FPS. So, I capped it to 90 expecting it to be more stable, which it is. But every now and then I get FPS drops to 70, why does this happen if before I simply dropped to 100? Resolution: 1440p Settings: Medium Upscaling: DLSS Balanced GPU: RTX 2080 Ti

    That's pretty much what matters to me, since for text related stuff I tend to use my laptop But once again, no upcoming OLED monitors for 1440p 32"

    @191x7@DJ46I don't have a 24" 1080p, but if I recall correctly that's the most common size for 1080p, so it should be fine Sadly, I haven't heard anything about 1440p 32" OLED monitors

    I plan to buy a 4k OLED TV and would like to get stable 100+ FPS on most games, which I'm certain my 2080 Ti won't do. if I were to buy a GPU should I go 4070 Ti or 4080? I tend to play single player games like: Resident Evil, Dead Space, The Witcher, Metro Exodus, etc

    I been reading that the RTX 4000 series is a scam like the RTX 2000 series And here I am... one of the buyers of the 2080 Ti when it launched, I don't wanna commit that mistake again lol So I am wondering, is the 4000 series really that bad? Are there hopes for the 5000 series to be better? (price to performance)
