  1. I feel like I'm being too extra careful for no reason, but I'd like to confirm with you guys, I'm doing the following: Enabled a bunch of OLED care options Pixel cleaning once a day Turn off the TV if I don't plan to use it for over 5 minutes Turn it off for like 15 minutes after a few hours of usage Am I being over the top or is this the type of stuff that I should do? I just don't want burn-in
  2. Yea I think it might be the response time I really can't tell the difference, I always use Motion Blur off, could it be that my other monitor response time was bad?
  3. In my old monitor I could easily tell you if I was playing at 60 or 120, anybody can, it's such a difference But right now I've been playing at 4k 60hz (GPU limited) and I swear on my life I can't tell it's 60
  4. Yup I have it! The very first thing that I did was to watch a bunch of "tips & tricks" videos Also got the Game Genre thing working, did not realize that the Sound preset had to be set to Game Optimizer (I had only set it for Picture)
  5. Interesting, Edge looks perfectly fine (I don't have Chrome) Will do some research about Firefox HDR Edit: So apparently Firefox doesn't support HDR on Windows
  6. @BetteBalterZen@Andrewtst@Shimejii But why does enabling HDR on Windows 11 look so bad for me when consuming content? (Photos taken with phone) Note: When I disable HDR in Windows 11, it looks 90% similar to LG App, it's as if in order to fix HDR I have to disable HDR... LG YouTube App Windows 11 YouTube in Firefox (HDR Enabled)
  7. TV: LG C3 42" 1) Taking YouTube as an example, why does watching HDR content looks way much better on the TV application than on the PC (windows 10, enabled HDR) 2) Do I have to do anything special to display perfect HDR in Windows 10? 3) When using Game Optimizer, why is my "Game Genre" greyed out? (I've disabled AI Genre option, so that is not it) Tagging some peeps from similar past threads: @Shimejii @RONOTHAN## @Stahlmann @BuzzingBee @Alex Atkin UK @leclod @kirashi
  8. @StahlmannWhat about GeForce Now? As in, Windows Web Browser vs TV Application
  9. For example, let's say that I want to watch some series on Netflix, does it make a visual difference between: Having the TV as monitor then opening Netflix in the web browser Having the TV by itself and opening the Netflix app I hope I'm making sense
  10. @Stahlmann@BuzzingBeeGuys, so I ended up purchasing the LG C3 42" which I'm convinced will be perfect for me to use as a monitor, I was in the store checking out the C2 48" and 55" and it was just too big for what I needed I'm aware that the C3 panels are either the same or similar to C2, but thought I'd buy the newest anyway
  11. Yeah, we bought a cheap TV for the living room for the guests to use, but we want to have a more premium TV for ourselves I thought I could kill two birds with one stone by upgrading my monitor for gaming then use that TV to watch movies / series Which C2 size do you have and how far do you sit from it? Out of curiosity, did you try to use the 55" for productivity?
  12. That's true, but TVs also have adaptive sync I also had in mind QD OLED, but wasn't there some news about Samsung's technology having higher rate of burn-in compared to LG?
  13. Today I was about to pull the trigger to buy an LG C2 48" and use it as monitor, but I hesitated because I began to think about the actual OLED monitors out there... Why would you pick a monitor instead of a TV? (or viceversa)
  14. Upon doing a quick Google search I found very little on the topic, the vast majority of posts mentioned using a Monitor. But I don't wanna assume anything, does anyone know if KVM Switches work when using a TV as display?
  15. @spartan251That looks super nice if you were to upgrade something aesthetically, what would it be and why?
  16. Here's also a benchmark for that card in that game (5:43)
  17. @ChaoticChaosxWow!! Can we get a closer angle of that case? I meant to see the components, looks dope
  18. I'm looking to buy a TV for the living room and don't really want to spend a lot, not buying something like an OLED But I also don't want one those TVs whose blacks look awfully gray If I could spend no more than $500 USD that would be great, it's probably going to be used very few times a week
  19. @RollinLowerNice setup you've got, I love the lighting and the wooden desk too, I'm building something similar
  20. That's pretty cool You could also buy another pair of cables so that you don't have to move those, only plug-in stuff
  21. @sirius300zx96Nice setup dude! I think your desk space is pretty similar to my current and I have space issues, have you thought about upgrading it? @HM-2 That's so beautiful omg, out of topic question but did you ever get used to two monitors? I've had my dual setup for a year and a half or so, and 90% of the time I use my left monitor
  22. @Gost1o1 Jesus Christ!!! What an amazing setup, goals
  23. @JFAllenThat's pretty cool!!! My current desk is like 35" or so wide, but I'm trying to get a 67" walnut desk
