  1. Your right, however the original psu pin has 8 Pin .The image i sent was the first one i found on google.
  2. Not At home now but i got the manual. it has the green, black and grey cables..
  3. Hi, Everyone. So recently i bought a new Dell 3670 PC from our local Group Store. I decided since this desktop had an 8400 CPU in it, it would be a good idea to place a graphics card in it and replace the PSU (200Watt) it currently has installed to a bigger one( Corsair VS550). upon purchasing all the desired extra hardware, i started immediately to install everything. The only problem i had found was that the mother board System ATX was an 8 Pin instead of the standard 24 PIn connector on PSU. I thought this may not be a problem as there is tons of these cables online, however here in South Africa i can not obtain one from any local Computer store. There aren't any DELL Agents either. My question is; What must i do to easily solve this problem? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Side Notes: I'am currently running the system with two Psu's; the original for the mother board and the new Corsiar for the GPU.(I Know Its Not Safe). Worst case scenario would be to cut and solder the cables to a 8 pin connector. :( SYSTEM ATX 8 Pin is Listed as number 9 in image 2.
  4. wow, alright thanks ill buy more ram and see how it goes.. luckily DDR3 is not that expensive here..if not then ill have to cough up for new hardware.
  5. so in conclusion,I'm getting an i5 8400. thank you to everyone for your support!
  6. OK, well my graffix card only has 6gb of VRAM but my actual system memory is 8gb of ram, this runs at about 90% on task manager
  7. it runs at about 7100 mb or a little bit higher during run time on most of the games
  8. True, but i think that maybe because both your gpu and cpu is getting stressed so it evens out...dont get me wrong im just speculating..
  9. i reinstalled everything the other day on an SSD.. i used the latest drivers from nvidea and intels website
  10. thats the weird thing my cpu stays at 60 to 70 degrees and turboboost is active not that that matters..
  11. I've currently Got an i7 2600 with a MSI GTX 1060 6G oc, as well as 8GB DDR3 Ram and The CPU Bottlenecks like crazy..whether playing the Witcher 3, Assassins Creed Origins,Fallout 4 or even Far Cry 4 at the resolutions of 1080p, 720p or lower..with the identical poor performance. The game would occasionally freeze for a second and carry on like normal..60 FPS would drop down to 14 FPS in that moment it freezes..i wouldn't have a problem with it, if it was occasional but unfortunately its not..I had a GTX 750 before and i had no issues like these...Now my decision is to upgrade to an i5 8400 CPU. If any one could consider what else could be at fault other than my CPU i would be glad to hear it. Thanx!
