Hi guys,
I am finally upgrading my GPU from a EVGA 650Ti SSC 2GB to a 980Ti. But I can't choose between two Asus GPU's; the Poseidon and Strix version. The Strix has better performance but if I choose the Poseidon I can watercool it and maybe have a better overclock. Plus I can watercool my whole system in one loop (currently a prebuild NZXT x60 CPU watercooler).
So my question is if I should buy the Strix and just have air cooling on my GPU or choose the Poseidon have my entire system watercooled?
I know you can buy waterblocks for the Strix but I find that very expensive and I like te ROG look because I also have other ROG components.
My system:
CPU: i7-4790K OC 4,5 GHz
MoBo: Asus Maximus VII Hero
RAM: 16GB 2133 MHz Corsair vengeance
GPU (current): EVGA 650Ti SSC 2GB
CPU cooling (current): NZXT x60 watercooling
BTW I had the GPU in another system before I did this build that's why it's so small
