  1. Pressed D? I haven't, but the textures look shoddy don't they.
  2. Hi Everyone, i found this image on an ACU Neogaf forum. Just wanted to share, maybe we can start a good discusion about the game. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=930673&page=22 Oh my lord, i cracked up at this one. And the irony...
  3. Trouble is, i usually find that Newegg and Amazon Australia has a tiny catalogue. Ie I can't get a Gigabyte 970, because it's not available in australia. The MSI GTX 970 (http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127832&cm_re=gtx_970-_-14-127-832-_-Product) shows its price as $349.99 (this must be USD) on the Aus website, yet when i go to the shopping cart to buy it, it says that it's been removed from cart because it's unavailable, and it's price is shown as $407.99 (must be AUD).
  4. 64bit should be more stable. since it allows bf4 to use more than 4gigs of ram.
  5. It shows on his profile that he has an 8120. I don't think there's a bottleneck there.
  6. Check that the SSD is in AHCI mode (in BIOS) not IDE mode. Will make a massive speed difference. It should be in AHCI.
  7. I have problems with my 120 GB Samsung 840 evo as well. And, I also have an fx-6300. Is your friend using the 970 chipset on the mobo? I've run the Firmware Update (which basically just rewrote all the data lol) A potential fix, check if the SSD is running in AHCI mode (check in BIOS) if it's in IDE, then that will explain everything. My SSD defaulted to IDE mode, and i had to boot into safe mode and change it to AHCI to fix it.
  8. Unless you're going into the BIOS all the time, then adding onto what bigdaddy said, it's just a thing with BIOS UEFIs, it shouldn't be a problem. If you're going to be spending a lot of time in the BIOS on that PC, then my comment is defunct.
  9. Having played 300 hours of BF4, and encountered countless issues with performance, i'll add my 2 cents. Raptr, causes a lot of instability in BF4. Uninstalling it is the way to go. Also, make sure you're using 64bit BF4.
  10. What did you do wrong?
  11. mmm, i would love to have the KÜHLER 1250 CPU cooler. My stock amd cooler is shockingly shocking.
  12. Still advertising the "16.8 million colour backlight". That is a lie, please stop.
  13. Hi, Neither are available for me to purchase, only the ones mentioned above
  14. I agree. Linus was trying to tell us it had 16.8 mil, then it turns out it doesn't, and he says "who cares?" He always says he has high standards for Corsair. Is misinformation a high standard? Still i'm happy that corsair have explained and appeased, just a bit worried about the underlying issue.
  15. That would be stupid, useless, and an insult to all involved. I would not get in on that.
  16. Ok thanks for clarifying. I think i prefer the 780t over the 760. Never really liked the 750D that much. 900D had bad airflow.
  17. Ok, spotted a vote for the 760t and 780t Can anyone explain the difference between these two?
  18. Hi there, So i'm shopping for a build in Australia, and just can't decide on the Case. Please vote for which case you would recommend for me, and if you would like, leave a comment explaning why, and perhaps order the cases from best (5), to worst (1). Perhaps there's another case with a similar price that you would recommend? The build · I5-4690, 970 G1 Gaming, Seagate 1TB, Samsung 840 250GB, Antec TruePower 750W. Still deciding on the RAM, monitors, Motherboard, i don't think thats going to affect the decision, and i'm confident with deciding on those components) These are my thoughts on each case: Thermaltake Core V71 [http://bit.ly/1wSyJy4] (209 AUD) • I glossed over this one at first (i got a terrible 750w PSU from them with my first build, left a bad impression) • Good price • All HDD drives can be removed. I'm only using a HDD and an SSD here, and they can go on the back. • Fan Support: Front: 2x200mm Top: 2x200mm Rear: 140mm, Bottom: 2x120mm • Rad Support: Front: 420mm, Top: 420mm, Rear: 120mm, Bottom: 240mm Corsair Graphite 780T [http://bit.ly/1t0cXKQ] (259 AUD) • Ok, so this is confusing. 780t costs less, but the model name (look M.N. generally suggests it's position ok, let's not get into that) suggests that it's better than the 760T. • Fan Support: Front: 2x140mm, Top: 2x140mm, Rear: 140mm, Bottom: 2x120mm • Rad Support: 2 x 360mm Corsair Graphite 760T [http://bit.ly/1sTwDPm] (259 AUD) • Fan Support: Front: 2x140, Top: 2x140, Rear: 140, Bottom: 120 • Rad Support: Front: 240, Top: 240, Rear: 120, Bottom: 120 NZXT Phantom 820 Matter Black [http://bit.ly/1wmudK5] (269 AUD) • Fan Support: Front: 200, Top: 200 Rear: 140 Side: 200 Thanks in advance!
  19. I admit to my sin, i didn't read all of the comments. I'm halfway through the Wan Show. Will edit my comment.
  20. I think all that flashy carbon is too much, and having the extra material covering part of the fan could slightly restrict performance But that's not going to stop me from accepting a free one!
  21. This is the exact situation that mantle is supposed to prevent... But when DX12 comes around, there shouldn't be a bottleneck. What's the rest of your system like? If your PC is anything like the PC i have with my fx-6300, then upgrading to a GTX 970 may not be a good idea... PSU, Case, Cooling.
  22. lol Yep. Linus Logic. never mind the 980 has what.... 32 times more VDRAM, plus its GDDR5 (i'm not going to even get into it being Double Data Rate...) and the BFG is GDDR3
