  1. Thanks! Was gonna go for the Swift 3 (because of the IPS screen and Aluminum Body) but it wasn't upgradeable and only had an i3-7130u. Did I make the right decision sir ZM?
  2. Aight, i'll do that. Thanks good sir!
  3. Tbh, i have no idea yet, i cant seem to find concrete reviews about this specific regional model and i dont have the model yet to test it.
  4. These are the cheapest ones that I could get locally
  5. I wrote it in the first post, ACER E5-576G-50EN. That's why I'm asking which ones are comaptible.
  6. I'm not sure if this model supports m.2 PCIe.
  7. Philippines. Price isn't an issue, as I found a local store who sells all these model at roughly the same price. I'm not sure if the E5-576G-50EN model supports NVMe or Sata m.2 though
  8. I ordered an Acer E5 576G (i5-8250u and MX150) today and will recieve it in 3 days. It only comes with a 2TB HDD though, so I'm planning to buy an M.2 SSD for it. It has a maintemance hatch so it should be easy to install the m.2 ssd. Thay being said, can you please help me choose a cheap 128gb SSD for it? I'll only be using the ssd solely for Windows, so 128gb should suffice. Here are my current options: Transcend MTS800 https://www.google.com.ph/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-644&ved=2ahUKEwid1YCf0vvcAhVDbrwKHbWxDQsQFjAAegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw2GZhE_uCGXBo_6kSumSOWV Intel 545s https://www.google.com.ph/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://ark.intel.com/products/125027/Intel-SSD-545s-Series-128GB-M_2-80mm-SATA-6Gbs-3D2-TLC&ved=2ahUKEwiG_pyu0vvcAhUO57wKHRO-CksQFjAAegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw0z5QH7HZMPuqeaZx6MJV63 AData XPG SX7000 https://www.google.com.ph/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.com/ADATA-SX7000-128GB-Gen3x4-ASX7000NP-128GT-C/dp/B06Y6D3M45&ved=2ahUKEwjR_cPV0vvcAhXJTLwKHV8wAqQQFjADegQICRAB&usg=AOvVaw0FeqmXIVHNIdDlp1tlGAUg Plextor M6E https://www.google.com.ph/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.com/Plextor-128GB-Internal-Solid-PX-G128M6e/dp/B00KIMIC8M&ved=2ahUKEwjU19CI0_vcAhULU7wKHW-bBQEQFjALegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw2SBnAIrRQ4RTFSlNxeBl4M Are all of these compatible for the Acer 15 e5-576g? Also, which is the best option? Thanks!
  9. Thanks. I only need it for MS Office Spreadsheets and ofcourse multimedia stuff (youtube, watchin movies, etc.) and the most intensive game I play is NBA 2K. It should suffice, right?
  10. Thanks! This is the answer I was looking for. On a side note, I also found a local store that sells the Acer Swift 3 with Mx150 but only an i3-7130u processor. It costs around 40$ more but comes with an Aluminum chasis and IPS display, does that sound like a better option? Or should i stick to the E15 despite its lower quality but better processor?
  11. I can't find reviews on that exact model, that's why I'm hesitant on it. But yeah, generally I've had better experiences with ASUS than Acer. Is the Acer E15 build quality really that bad? Or is it atleast on par with ASUS?
  12. Mostly paperwork, Excel/Word, and occasinally a bit of light gaming (Dota 2 and NBA2K.. Nothing heavy like AAA Titles).
  13. The 2 units I'm refering to are these: ASUS X542UN http://www.asianic.com.ph/product/asus-vivobook-15-x542undm097t-intel-core-i5-8th-gen and the ACER E15 http://www.villman.com/Product-Detail/Acer_E5-576G_i5-8250U Both are priced the same. Both have the same processor and gpu. Thoughts?
  14. Im having quite a dilemma choosing between these two. The Acer Swift 3 (i3-7130u) orhttps://tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=42763225 or the ASUS Vivobook 15 X542UN (i5-8550u) Bothhttps://tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=42867046 Both of them use the MX150 GPU, both are priced similarly as well. Which would be the better choice? Main purpose is basic typing/web browsing/ and a bit of photo-editing. Ocassionaly I play NBA2K as well. I can also get the MSi PL62 but I heard it's build quality is bad. P.S. These are the most that my budget allows as I am only a student.
