  1. No, my power line software does have a way to see my connection rating. As I’m looking at right now, it’s at 124 mbps. But either way yeah I’m gonna call, but thanks for the help.
  2. Sorry, when I’m downloading games I’m usually getting 10-15 MegaBytes (MB/s). My connection rate is listed in my power line adapter software as around 100mbps. I’m assuming so it’s a line issue. It’s odd because I haven’t touched anything and nothing has happened anywhere even near my house, but I guess I’ll have to call.
  3. Did not make a difference. It’s still capping my download speed. I’m also still on my 5ghz connection. Maybe I’m just screwed?
  4. Fine, but I’d rather not buy more cables so I’ll just move my pc to the router to see if the download speed is different, I’ll get back to you
  5. It’s not possible for me, my router is too far away from my pc to run a cable to it.
  6. Hi, so I’ve been downloading steam games for about a year at around 10-15 Mb/s. Or even my download speed for anything in general is about 10-15. But since yesterday, my download speed has been capped at about 1.5mb/s. I’m using a TP Link Av500 and it’s done wonders, and when I open the app for it that tells you your power line rate it says 120ish Mbps, which is roughly about 12mb/s, which should be my download speed. But as I’m trying to download a game right now, it still says 1.5mb/s. I’ve tried resetting my modem and router, Ethernet adapters, pc, and networking settings and nothing. Any help? Thanks!
