I want to upgrade my motherboard. I will be buying RGB RAM, so I wanted a RGB or neutral mobo. It was seeming as the B450 Tomahawk was going to be the one, as its good price and look was almost what I was looking for. I don't like the red lights, but it was the best I could find. What about VRMark? I have also seen some videos of people playing VR with a FX-6300, and they seem fine. Also, I could overclock my CPU. If I seem a little bias to the VR, that's because I am! However I don't want that to get the best of me, so I thought I'd get a few more opinions. Anyway, I will do some more research and thank you for you feed back!

I have been thinking about buying a HTC Vive. With the times I have used it, I loved it. I have played Super Hot, Beat Saber, Job Sim, and Tilt Brush. I can not explain how much I love the Vive and VR. The Rift did not stand out as much as the Vive, but it's good too. On one side, I should upgrade my PC, as it's showing its age... But on the other side I love VR, and I think my PC can handle it for the time until I upgrade. I am ether going to upgrade, or buy the Vive first, but I will do both in the end. I have done the steam VR test and never dropped below 90FPS. I also ran VRMark, and got a score of 5,503 (Avg FPS was 119). Should I go with Intel on this? I really like my AMD chip, and would like to not move away from AMD. I don't think there are any Intel chips that are cheap enough anyway. I like the Ryzen upgrade, as it is good for the future.

I don't know the technicals but accumulations of dust, or in your case poop, can cause some components to short or over heat. I think... Either way you should clean out what you can to be safe. Hope I helped.

That is what I was told before, but I wanted the RGB. The tomahawk only has red LED's. Do you think it is worth it to go with the tomahawk anyway?

I would like to upgrade my PC, but I am not sure what is the best to get. I thought if my motherboard was RGB, I should get RGB memory, and at a speed of 3000, it seems worth the price. I like AMD and the Ryzen lineup, so I thought getting the 2600 would be good for games, as well as the light video editing I do. What do you think? I was only going to go with the RGB if the only sacrifice was $20. What I am asking is if the G.Skill RAM has no other difference than the $20 and RGB. I want to go with the Vengeance if the RGB is not worth it.

So I was about to buy the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB kit for my upgrade to Ryzen, but then I saw in the recommended the G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series. Now, I know that the RGB series is more expensive, but only by $20 (In this case), and I would love to have some RGB in my system. What I want to know is: Is there any difference in the RAM (Speed, latency, etc.) that I may have missed. And Would you buy it if you had to choose?
