  1. 1.) I changed my board to H370-F, I was reading the forum and saw that H270 will not work. 2.) I got the CX series CS650 since I have limited choices 3.) I just want to try setting up a liquid cooling rig (not much on saving) and since I'm not overclocking it with a locked i5-8400, i'll stick with the H60 also, I already ordered it... hahahahaha... if I change my order, I might receive it next week but I'm already dying to build one... super thanks for the feed back, I will try my best not to waste your knowledge with my build.
  2. I opt to retain the i5-8400 since I can't get an i5-8600k right now (will need to wait for delivery, and they did not give me a specific date) ... I somehow changed my motherboard to ROG STRIX H370-F GAMING since that is the only available board for me right now. (it's more of an availability issues now) for the PSU, I got the CX series CS650 (again, availability) thank you all for the help... i'll get all my parts tomorrow and I'll start building it...
  3. AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 4-Core 3.6 GHz cost around 180 usd the CORE I5 8400 2.80GHz cost around 200 usd. price may vary per store in thailand
  4. is ASUS ROG STRIX H270F GAMING LGA1151 an ok fit?
  5. thanks for the input. on the PSU, I will change it to a better quality. on the CPU, will there be any difference if I stay with the i5-8400 and the Z370 mobo? Apologies, I forgot my budget. Budget: 1500 USD Country: Thailand for the GPU, i'm mostly playing RPGs (skyrim, Mass Effect, WoW) and I'm planning to use VR on that machine.
  6. Hello Team, I'm new here but I would like to ask for your opinion/help/suggestions on my gaming rig build. this will be my 1st gaming rig build but this will be my 4th PC build, my last build was last 2012 and i only have GTX 560Ti and Core i3-3220. so here goes, Parts Item CPU Intel Core i5-8400 MOBO ASUS ROG Strix H370-F GAMING GPU ASUS ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1070 Ti OC HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB SSD WD Black 250 GB SSD RAM CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PSU CORSAIR CX650 COOLER CORSAIR Hydro H60 CASE Antec P8 Monitor ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ 27” Curved Full HD 1080p 144Hz 1.) is my power supply sufficient? 2.) I have an external HDD with 4TB so I think I will just put 1TB in 3.) is my Cooler sufficient for my CPU? (I was thinking of Hydro H80v2 but i set with H60 due to being a newer model) 4.) any changes should I do? 5.) anything missing? hahah After watching the Verge's horrific video on how to build our own rig, i now have a fear in building a rig (i might mess up alot... hahahaha) Edit: Budget - 1,500 USD Country - Thailand Edit 2: Changes made for the final Build Regards, JoeRich
