Oh snap, I never considered the controller. Those are $50 each. I believe you have convinced me to buy new ! I think I'm off the fence now !

It's not bad, but the new Xbox's can often be found with bundled games. I think they were selling for $249 with 4 games. Sell each game for $30, and you're at about the same price for a better console. You also have a warranty.
I bought an XBox One S over a used Xbox, and I don't regret it at all.

Open up task manager and check processes tab. This will show you what is using up your cpu resources.

120gb Kingston V300 has poor write speeds. They did a bait'n'switch with the Nand flash a while back. I would choose a differenet SSD.

WestcoastPCBuilder reacted to Delicieuxz in Play Battlefield 2 online, with all expansion packs, free
If you're a Battlefield 2 fan, you probably are aware that Gamespy, the service which hosted Battlefield 2's multiplayer servers, shut down last year, and EA didn't make a new home for Battlefield 2's servers, instead retiring the game's online playability. This also marked the end of Battlefield 2's availability for sale from sources like Steam, and Origin.

However, I've read reports that some people contacting Origin support and asking for a copy of Battlefield 2 have been given free Origin keys for the game, probably EA offloading its remaining stock.

Yet Battlefield 2 lives on, including its online multiplayability, at this site: http://www.battlelog.co/

A team of fans have set up a nexus for Battlefield 2 servers, made possible by the server files for Battlefield 2 having been leaked long ago.

And more than just provide places to play Battlefield 2 online, they've also created a custom installer of Battlefield 2 that includes everything needed to play the game, which can be downloaded from the website freely. I guess the principle of abandonware applies to the game now, since it is no longer being published, isn't for sale, and as EA have been giving away remaining keys through Origin.

As can be seen, there is a limited number of servers, either ranked or unranked, that are populated, but hopefully awareness and the free game download will lead to a player-base that grows beyond what it is right now.

In my opinion, it is still the best Battlefield made to-date, and one of the best FPS games ever made, and a unique gaming experience.

performance wise it won't change anything but for the love of god do NOT get a 2x2gb kit if your board only has TWO dimm slots...you leave no room for future expansion that way and 4GB is really not enough these days you want at least 8GB if you cant afford a 2x4GB kit right now just get a single 4GB stick it will be much better...that way you can upgrade to 8gb without having to toss away these ram sticks...

Get the strongest card you can afford. CPU bottleneck won't be an issue with that cpu.

In the OC section. Change the multiplier by using the + and - keys. You can probably leave the CPU core voltage on [auto] for a small overclock. Press 'F10' to save configuration and exit the bios after you have the settings you like.

If you'd like to change the CPU core voltage manually, just check the CPU OC database on this forum too see what others voltage is at for the clock speeds you'd like to achieve.
