  1. After all his complaints stated in his first video, his follow up video, he commits all the same issues. No front USB3.0, soldered on Kabini APU, 4GB ram, tiny motherboard in a Huge case ... a terrible Diaboletek power supply ... 2nd worst power supply after logisys. All for $350 and than you have to charge $50-$100 assembly fee ....
  2. Lower clock, Lower TDP. Embedded option (BGA) , soldered onto mainboards, good for tight spaces. BGA/PGA, one's for consumer, one's for manufacturer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_grid_array
  3. Did you have any parts that you have your mind made up on ? Color Scheme, that's up to you, do you have a case in mind ? Or a motherboard ? Did you need an O/S ?
  4. If you guys want DJ Tiesto songs, Paul Oakenfold songs, Marco V, Judge Jules on and on, before they were 'FAMOUS', and still underground, I can post it! Just let me know.
  5. The employment setbacks is why they are getting rid of the 'blow ignition' system. They realized it hurt the economy to give someone who's job depended on a drivers license a ban and on top a fine and another fine. The gov't is stepping back. I would never drive irresponsibly ... the police officer was a total hoser and I let him know. Thus Cuffs, squad car, and a pristine police report. Not much else to do for a police officer in Port Moody. Only lesson I have learned, don't give lip.
  6. I got a DUI in BC. Thus my license has been taken away. Going to cost $1000 + $1600 to get it back. Lost my job as a consequence which I understand. When I get my license back I am going to purchase a 1994 Integra Type-R or a Civic Si of some sort. Perhaps a volkswagen golf of 1998, GTi, with turbo.
  7. I'll just share the one's I made ... This was when I was teaching myself Sony Vegas. Song span 1995-2011 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRnRypsXKR8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpEugwIGq6E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLeu-VA_PBE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t8gf-Y39_o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akkvQNl9pNU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tA_DDUveec
  8. This is my most favorite progressive trance song ever made. By the end it's a mind blowing orgasm ... (i'm a bit old school, this is probably 1999 - 2000.) 5:45 it all comes together. Many progressive song are weak, this keeps on adding! I also like finding songs that are in movies or I don't know how to find and stumble across ... Kill BIll https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P-c2k-HgRA
  9. Go with a 260x if you can ... http://www.snapdeal.com/product/msi-r7-260x-2gd5-oc/615052255
  10. For $160, it a great CPU for a multi-threaded application.
  11. The Asus PA is terrible. The anti-glare coating (matte finish) is so strong that it ruins the vibrancy of the image. They both use the exact same LG panel. Your call.
  12. If it freezes at roughly the same spot, some effect is not well liked in whichever codec you're rendering out in. Try a different file type such as Mpeg2 or AVCHD, or try changing the video FX at the 9% mark.
  13. you can raise the fan up if you want it in a push
  14. Haven't most people already beat this game ? I think watch dogs was the perfect storm.
  15. I foundd that over the last few mobo generations there are diminishing returns after the $150-$170 price point. Z97-A or Asrock Extreme3 will do the trick if those are your brands of choice. If you want to run 3 or 4 cards a Gigabyte GT is nice at $265 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128702 If you like the looks of those boards, your call.
  16. The card doesn't support SLI and the motherboard doesn't support SLI since it's second slot is only x4 and need to be x8 for SLI. 2 strikes. New card is the option.
  17. If you try with no ram, you get no display. You probably need a BIOS update for the i7 4790. Hopefully you have an older chip or you'll have to get a new mobo.
  18. 493w load on guru3D's set-up. 750w minimum. 850w recommended. If you want to go higher, up to you! http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/radeon_r9_290_crossfire_review_benchmarks,4.html I'd probably go with a Gigabyte Gaming 3 or MSI Gaming 3 for the higher quality audio codec and better power phase delivery for overclocking. Not sure if that heatsink is from newegg, seems it ships from Tiawan. Newegg is adding different co-ops to their list now.

  20. I've shared files. Never commandeered a boat for loot though.
  21. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/R9_280X_Gaming_6_GB/26.html http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/R9_280X_Gaming_6_GB/24.html those 2 links will answer your question.
  22. Intel Haswell is roughly 80% quicker clock for clock over AMD, effectively nullifying the 8-core FX. The FX is slower clock for clock than the older Phenom X6 Thubans and they had to up the frequency and give it time until people forgot about their complete screw up going over to bulldozer. 8 core FX chips are 4 modules sharing the same pipline/resources, and that pipeline is long, resulting in much lower instructions per cycle Vs. Intel.
  23. video editing, you'll want cores! FX should do the trick for that. GFX card, whatever you want for your games. GTA V gonna be played ? If so, grab something mid-high , GTX 770 = R9 280x. Video editing programs support OpenCL which is on both vendors. CUDA acceleration is meant more for real time playback, not transcoding/rendering. quick sync actually can help with that, but it's intel.
  24. It's a GT 640 rebrand. Whatever a GT 640 review does, this will do. 4GB GT 740 might see 750mb Vram usage, so they have tacked on 3GB ram to much for the people that see 4GB and think 'WOAHHHH'
  25. 372w load in the guru3d review on a fully loaded system ... http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_titan_review,9.html Ideal is 50% load on your PSU to get best 80plus efficiency. That's right where your 700w PSU falls !!! It depends on the specific PSU as well, some PSU's start produces tons of heat that the fan doesn't dissipate properly after 80% load, some PSU's stay cool even at 100% load. These new Coolermasters are apparently excellent. All good in the hood.
