  1. Right on. I remember playing the game when there was only a few 64 player servers still getting full only certain times of the week. Throwing C4 and bunny hopping felt oh soo good. And there was alway this one guy who i swear had a hack for the jets. End up getting 150+ kill to 1 death. Will check it out.
  2. I added you ! I see nightraven on my friendslist. I play euro servers usually when american are a bit slower. You can PM me on here the times you play in your time zone and I can just jump on the server.
  3. 1) GoldenEye 2) BF2 3) Halo 4) Red Faction 5) Time splitters 2
  4. That mobo only has option for 1066mhz, 1333mhz and 1400mhz. Either kit should work, it will just down clock to mobo default.
  5. The person in this forum compiled a small list of mobo's he was able to find info on ... http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2389948 I bought my MSI board after seeing it in that list. Sure enough I could OC.
  6. In the OC section. Change the multiplier by using the + and - keys. You can probably leave the CPU core voltage on [auto] for a small overclock. Press 'F10' to save configuration and exit the bios after you have the settings you like. If you'd like to change the CPU core voltage manually, just check the CPU OC database on this forum too see what others voltage is at for the clock speeds you'd like to achieve.
  7. Get the strongest card you can afford. CPU bottleneck won't be an issue with that cpu.
  8. I have the same board. 1.085v at 4.2ghz is stable for general use. I haven't ran prime95 yet. Try 1.1v ... 1.100 volts. and 40x multi, aka, 4.0ghz.
  9. pxx series, eg, p35 / p45 chipset. x38 / x48 chipset. Not G31/G41. Qxxx series can but many have locked bios from OEM vendors such as HP/Dell/Compaq.
  10. Will the G3258 4.0ghz not boot at 1.1v-1.2v ? Do you need 1.3v ? or did you only try 1.3v ? That's a lot of juice for such a low OC.
  11. Hi, Set the multi to 42x and the voltage to 1.07-1.08v and see if it boots into windows. If it does, proceed to run prime95. If it doesn't than try 1.09v and try again. This is assuming you have stock cooler. I do 1.075v at 4.2ghz and 1.15v at 4.3ghz ... I keep it at 4.2ghz and core #0 hit 65c and #1 hits 59c. Nice and cool. If you see the cpu ring ratio ... don't bother changing it ... it was thought it needed to be a 1:1 with the core clock, but it was shown to be counterproductive.
  12. Kewl. Thank you. I'm already on contract, it was a bring your own device ... but than I want to get rid of my Iphone 4 and grab something with a bigger screen and more multimedia capabilites. Just wasn't sure if these phones are too huge or not. 5" screen seems quite large ! I like the feel of 4" - 4.5" in my hand. I guess I can block out the sun with it than!
  13. Have a few options here. Clear favorites are the Nexus 5 and the Moto X. They are both so close in specs that it's hard to decide sight unseen.
  14. 5.9" 1080p quad-core 1.7ghz adreno 320 phone !? Sounds great ! There's a lot of inexpensive phones str8 out of china at bargain prices if you don't mind 'off' brands such as Elephone.
  15. Been testing out Themer ... it's alright ... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycolorscreen.themer Phone crashes a bit ... think it might be due to having flashed 4.4.4 kit-kat and unstable. Perhaps its the launcher though. Pretty sure it was Nova or Apex prior ... you can always change it in the options.
  16. Picked up this because it was cheap as crap and I wasn't leaving the store w/o protection ! http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/adreama-adreama-iphone-6-fitted-hard-shell-case-white-clear-adiph6tpupcwhtclr/10340569.aspx?path=349f7e7554320a0d772a827020e06a4den02 You may want to consider a screen protector ... The Moshi curves with the phone.
  17. I have this monitor. Suffers from black crush. Pixel response is so shitty it feels like I have motion blur on when I'm scrolling webpages. POS monitor. Only reason I kept it was because I had returned 2 other models and was sick of exchanging and waiting.
  18. Is this video brought to us by Kingston, WD, Intel, Corsair, Coolermaster and Asus by any chance ?
  19. For general tech ... Linus is probably the goto channel. When he was with ncixcom originally, he had way more unboxings etc. NCIXcom has turned into a bit of a joke since it is now more of a newsfeed. Newegg of course has product showcases etc. There were a few other guys a few years ago such as maxishine and another one i'm forgetting ... but it's dried up since most people have gone mobile/tablets/iphone due to getting more views. This girl is the best phone reviewer, very in-depth with time-stamps in the description. Her voice grinds my gears, but her attention to detail is second to none.
  20. G3258 ... Overclockable on H81/B85 motherboards. Asus/gig/msi/asrock all put out BIOS to allow for unlocked processors to be overclocked. Figured this was common knowledge. That said, I'd go with an FX-6300, more cores, better multi-tasking, shouldn't be CPU bound either way. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pentium-g3258-b81-cheap-overclocking,3888.html
  21. Grab your original choice. It's a true 1000:1 static. The BenQ falters and only offers a 600:1 contrast.
  22. Yes, it's called price protection. My mom got the JBL Pulse bluetooth speaker for $240 + Tax, I went back with her 2 days later and pricematched it to $170 ... so they do it. Plus they take 10% off the difference of the pricematch !!!
  23. Static Contrast is 3000:1 on both, that's a VA feature. That's the spectrum of darks to whites. This is the advantage of the VA panel. VA is not good for gaming, especially these 2, G2G might say 4ms, but that's optimistic ... input lag isn't all that great either. Anything but gaming, they should be fine. VA panel's in the last year have fixed their viewing angles to compete with IPS. Here's the BenQ ... http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_bl3200pt.htm Sammy ... http://www.trustedreviews.com/samsung-s32d850t-review#tr-review-summary These monitors are the same, they both use 32"WS AU Optronics AMVA (M320DVN01.0) panels.
