  4. so if i move it and it stops, it's not an electrical issue ? more importantly, its not a serious issue ?
  5. i have tapped it , but it doesn't stop i haven't dared to tilt it or move it from its location, while its working .. is that a good idea ? right now, the humming stopped and it's quite strange tbh - because about 10 minutes ago it was humming like crazy ( and i was simply doing the same activity as i am now - which is browsing the internet )
  6. I have a Stabimatic voltage stabilizer (STABIMATIC COMPANY LTD - might look shitty but we don't have too many options so i had to settle for this) It has worked quite well in the past, but i was out of country for 21 months, during which time the stabilizer was left idle and was not used at all now, when i came back and started using it again, it is producing strange humming sounds randomly (not all the time, but sometimes ) i am really scared if it is defective and what could be the reason behind this, i am really fearful of electrical fires / damage - so please help me i have recorded a video of the device with the sound it is making so please take a look and let me know what i should do P.S : i use a servo type stabilizer to avoid damaging my PC components due to low voltage or voltage fluctuations - which are possible in my country (Pakistan) stabil.mp4
  7. thank you so much for replying ! i fixed it, there was a type 4 connector bundled with the Fan Controller Power plug that i showed in the OP i plugged the type 4 connector in the PSU and the fans started spinning like badasses ( picture attached ) Godspeed !
  8. Hi i have a Zalman N3 PC case, which has 3 fans ( 1 exhaust fan in the back, 2 intake fans at front ) Ryzen 1500x RX 580 8 GB sapphire nitro 16 GB ram (XPG single stick) Seagate BarraCuda ST1000DM010 1TB SATA Hard Drive Corsair TX 550 M Gold PSU When i was in Istanbul, the case fans worked just fine ( i basically built the pc from the components when i was a student in Istanbul ) i carried the case and all the components with me when i traveled to my home country ( Pakistan ) Now i am in Karachi (Pakistan), i did the EXACT same setup with the PC However, the case fans do not turn on ! I am at a loss on what to do, since all the connections and everything is the exact same The only difference is the electrical voltages; In Pakistan : The standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. In Turkey : The standard voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. I purchased the case in Turkey and used in there, i never used it in Karachi before today (10 Feb 2023) Please note, I did not connect any wire to the PSU, for the fans, when i used the case in Turkey. The fans still powered up and work there for the 21 months in lived in the country. I found a female connector in the case, it is labelled : Fan Controller Power i have attached a picture of it. Please advise on how can I get the case fans working.
  9. Hello, So I ordered Edifier TWS 330 NB Bluetooth earbuds I was using them quite happily, but last night i left the Earbuds box (which holds the buds) on charge and forgot to disconnect it when i went to sleep. When i tired using the earbuds the next day, the left sided earbud did not give any sound I was worried but did not freak out I thought pairing abd unpairing would help. However, when i unpaired from the phone, i could not get the Bluetooth to detect the earbuds again I have tried everything but so far i have been unable to detect, let alone use my earphones again with my phone I am now freaking out What could be the reason of this happening ? Did the overnight charging fry the earphones ? Are TWS earphones that fragile to overcharging ? I am very confused and perturbed about this I am using Realme 5 as my phone Please kindly help me out, as i am a student and cannot afford another pair of these earbuds I am really worried, any help will be greatly appreciated !
  10. oh and not to mention, two separate restore point didn't help .... this is by far the WORST windows corruption i have ever seen in my life and i hate myself for it .. i really wish there was a way out
  11. so a badly corrupted windows won't boot into safe mode .. i did not know that
  12. Yes i see it in the BIOS and i have now disabled all other options, just to focus on the hard drive .. i am more worried about the reinstall not working, the old seagate drive gave the EXACT same error which is horrifying for me ! also, don't you find it a bit strange that SAFE MODE of all the things, is not working ?! it's supposed to work at bare minimum but it somehow won't boot ?! also, i tried spamming the windows + P key and it gave me something ( however, i still can't do anything or proceed with login etc ) :
  13. i can access the BIOS just fine, yes exactly - it's so infuriating to see those dots all the time with no progress whatsoever ! i did switch the SATA ports, yes i also made some edits in the original post, in case you want additional information Please find the video of the stupid black screen below ( notice how the cursor is visible ) : fack.mp4
  14. i will as soon as i have the money ... heck i will take on a loan if my pc somehow gets fixed of this strange black screen !
  15. i wrote this with half of my mind worried about my data last backup i made was about 36 + hours ago and while there was nothing that was changed, it's going to be a pain to reinstall everything and remember where was what etc .. i probably suffer from some sort of anxiety and this thought of doing so many things really badly puts my mind in a painful frenzy of thoughts ( which was the reason i kept backups in the first place) I used Macrium Reflect to clone the entire HDD to the portable HDD just so i would have had the facility to boot from it, but seems that was not the case which is why i am calling is 'useless' and now i am clueless what to do - i wish i know portable hdd was not a good option for bootable backups i have most of my data (about 99% presumably) but my PC is still not usable as the log in screen never appears ( if you want, i can attach a small 10 second video of the screen i am facing ) i would be grateful if you can guide me
  16. Hey LTT, i badly need help because my PC on which most of my work is, has started malfunctioning since earlier today ( 22nd Feb 2022, what a horrible day ! ) Now before we move on to anything else, i just wanted to tell that i had regularly backed up my windows on a portable HDD ( which i can still browse on another laptop ) but when i try to boot from it, it give a blue screen with Inaccessible Boot Device stop code and as a result i cannot boot from my backup , which makes for a very precarious situation as i risk losing a great deal of work if the PC is not recovered ! It was literally my last chance to boot seamlessly but it seems that windows is behaving rather strangely .. So when i started my PC today, i saw that it was taking awfully long to boot ( it usually booted in a minute ) and then i saw that there was a black screen and the white dots were spinning for a long time but there was no progress I am really anxious as to what to do and i 100 % need my PC to work at all costs so, i just need to know what are my chances of getting back my system without losing data ( i am really traumatized since i had kept backups which are useless now ). i tried looking through the many guides of resolving this error but to no avail. LTT is quite literally my last and final hope before i am forced to nuke my system with a fresh re-install, which will be very painful since there was a lot of stuff installed and i had hoped to keep my data intact.. Any help anyone can provide, i will be really grateful to them ! PC Specs : Ryzen 1500x RX 580 8 GB sapphire nitro 12 GB ram 1 tb WD green HDD Corsair TX 550 M Gold PSU i am not going to sleep particularly well today, but i do hope a resolution can be found .. EDIT : i tried booting to safe mode ( all 3 variants of safe mode ) but it does not work . It simply stays stuck on a black screen and NEVER boots ! EDIT 2 : I can clearly SEE MY MOUSE CURSOR on the black screen, but ctrl+alt+del does not work and neither do any other shortcuts ! EDIT 3 : This is very, very strange but i had another hard drive with a REALLY OLD backup - months ago probably. It's giving the EXACT same black screen problem ! I don't know what to do, can anyone help me ?
  17. thanks for the detailed response the problem is, since there's an obvious language barrier here - it's really difficult to figure out what's going on in terms of the market i.e is the e-commerce giving better rates or are the phones cheaper in offline stores etc I can tell you my budget in Local currency - under 1000 turkish liras would be reasonable
  18. thanks for the detailed answer I have a WD Green 1 TB , i hope 1 TB is safe lasts me quite a while I have an A-Data external HDD ( HD 680 - Military Grade shock resistance ) i use to back up my data once in two weeks, guess i'll do it more often now I am scared of losing data Money is a bit tight right now ( i'm a student ) , but when i finally do have some cash - which budget hard disk would you recommend as a good purchase ? your suggestions can include a 1 TB or a 2 TB drive , i just want safety, longevity and reliability above everything else !
  19. holy crap ! are WD Greens unreliable ?! I have been using one for about 2 years now
  20. lmao , it's not THAT bad but booting up Windows 10 x64 is pretty slow ( with 12 GB DDR4 RAM )
  21. Xiaomi Phones are generally awesome and great value for money Their high-end phones are brilliant as well, e.g Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was probably one of the best, if not the best, Camera phone in this year or so However, Xiaomi really shine with their Budget or Mid-range options, which offer crazy value for money when you compare them to other options at a similar price point, like Samsung etc ( source of my knowledge : have been into Chinese phones since late 2014 / early 2015 ) Hope you enjoy your Redmi !
