Hello! Recently my monitor broke, it's the AOC 24G2. It started off with not liking the HZ going higher than 60, not even in-game or the entire monitor will just black screen, then it started having weird artifacts and freezing (only the monitor is effected, remoting into the pc does not show these issues, connecting a different monitor makes these issues dissapear) I made sure it's not the cable, can't be the gpu (I hope it isn't! idk how to check, don't got a spare gpu) so I got an RMA on it and I'm getting shipped a new one (Model 24G2-B) I looked online and apparently AOC has switched the panel to a different version, people are saying it's not color accurate from the factory, I'm assuming this can be switched in Windows? I know theres color profiles and such, is there anything I have to do after I get it? Like download a profile or switch some settings in Windows or the monitor's ui? Or is there nothing I can do about it?

Hello! I've been searching for a CPU for a while, I can't seem to settle on one. I was thinking of going for the Ryzen 5500 as it's price to performance is AMAZING! However, It only supports pcie 3.0 and for my application I really need 4.0, or higher. I was thinking the Ryzen 3600 but I'd like a second opinion or better! My budget is around 140$ or anything lower, I'm trying to get the most performance I can whilst still being pcie 4.0, I mainly want the CPU for gaming, so I check their passmark score and compare, but if you know any good ones for gaming I'll take those too! Yeah Idealy i'd like it as a pdf! However when I do so, there's always a bit of white margin around the chart/table, even when I manually set all margins to 0, best case I would love to have a pdf cropped out to exactly the chart, no white spaces at all!

Hello! I found myself needing to share an image file or pdf of my excel chart, however I'm having issues getting a good one, theyre very inconsistant. Sometimes lines will be 2x thicker than the surrounding ones, or the quality will be pretty low. How would you save it as an image? Or a selection as an image?

I'm trying to encode a 4k .h265 video to 1080p .h264 video using handbreake, I usually get around 250-300 fps with handbreake but now I'm getting really slow performance, and I see that it's not using all of my encoding computation power. What should I test to see where the issue is? What other program can I use? Should I change drivers?

I've been really wanting to get a VPN, but with so many options I've been overwhelmed. Reddit seems to praise PIA but after looking deeper it seems the community is upset since they got acquired by Kape (or something like that) and it's a breach of trust, but I don't know if that's even a concern. I'm scared to ask reddit as I feel there's a lot of ad bots that will immediately recommend nord vpn or some random one, I just want a safe one that doesn't sell your logs, has a kill switch and is pretty reliable.

I've been waiting to get a GPU for a long while now, I've had my eyes on the Asus 4060, on Oct 10-11 amazon will be having their prime day, and I don't know if graphics cards will be effected as there's always a demand for them. In the past have gpus been discounted by prime day? I want to wait to see if I could get a good price, but I'm scared they'll sell out and when it comes back it'll be like $360 or something

Oh my bad I don't think i specified what I was using, I'm using "command prompt" i presume the curl using command prompt is the real one?

I've been trying to learn how to use curl and it works for the most part when I use a command like this (I'm using Windows' cmd) curl --upload-file Test.txt https://x/ but I want to see the progress it takes to upload, i've tried with bigger files that take ~20 secs to upload and I'd like to see the progress and not just a frozen CMD terminal curl --progress-bar --upload-file Test.mp4 https://x/ I figured adding --progress-bar would give me a progress bar but it doesn't, it has the same exact result. I found this on the internet, people have to put "| cat" at the end for it to work on linux, I can't find any for windows but Ia ssume "|type" worked the same way, and it shows the progress! But i think it messes with the file, because it would give me an error when it reaches 100% "url: (23) Failed writing body" this is the command i used curl --progress-bar --upload-file Test.mp4 https://x/ | type I presume the pre-installed curl on windows is a bit different, but I presume I can still do what I want, could someone help me out? I did mention my usecases are unreal engine 5 and rendering, AMD is mainly gaming and their rendering performance doesn't compete with nvidia's cuda cores sadly, furthermore their av1 encoding is horrible so I'm not considering any AMD

Hmm where does it say the 4060's price to performance is bad? According to passmark it's the best price to performance in the 4000 series and most 3000 series except 3060, 3060ti and 2060

I've been running a 1050 for a really long time, and I think it's time I upgrade I was originally thinking an Intel Arc A750 but it's blender rendering performance is really bad, I mainly use my computer for game development in Unreal Engine 5 and I do a lot of Blender cycles rendering, I'm also very fascinated with the AV1 hardware encoding and I'd love to play with it, I do some gaming here and there but it's mainly things like Legaue of Legends but ocasionally want to try high demanding games, my use cases for a gpu is very broad and I belive Nvidia can satisfy those needs, I know there's a lot of hate with the 40 series and I'm unsure if it's because the price to performance is bad on all cards, or the higher end, or the build quality is bad. I'm planning on going for the Asus Dual RTX 4060 OC Edition, I think there's issues with gigabyte having brittle PCBs and I'm not sure if the card im going for suffers from anything like that, and im sure theres other stuff I need to consider aswell, would anyone give me some pointers or things I need to be aware off before buying the asus 4060?
