While you're at it, please define what a personal attack is to me.
It seems you infer meanings from posts that do not go any deeper than they appear. What someone's opinion of an act is does not necessarily mean it affects the way they view someone. I have not once seen this particular poster directly attack one person or a group of people. Don't put implications into posts that weren't there to begin with.
 
 
 
I haven't seen Linus promote a product he didn't like when he paid for it himself. If I purchase a poor product myself, I will not recommend it to anyone. If I get a product for free and I don't like it, I will not recommend it to anyone. I don't see a bias in the way he reviews a product based on how he obtained said product. If I lose out on a product that ends up being terrible, I'll make sure anyone I talk to does not follow suit. It doesn't help anybody out to promote a product like that. The more the product sells, the more it'll be out there. There's no point.

Um, that guy fled and then decided to pin an officer against a house. I wouldn't say they shot him because he ran a red light.
Though strange that they're posting about an incident 11 years ago.

The reason why I support GamerGate is the reason why many people support it: I want more transparency in journalism with regards to gaming.
If you want to pin the actions of a few onto me, then you are just as ignorant as Sarkeesian's followers.
I don't support harassment of others, and I'm all for feminism. However, Sarkeesian's definition of feminism, in my opinion, is not feminism.
Now stop speaking for others, because I'm tired of being spoken for.

Like I said earlier, how do we know the drone was trespassing on his property? He's damned if he shoots something on my lawn, what makes it any different if he shoots a drone that's flying over my house specifically?

I wish the article was more clear about what was going on. We don't know if it was a single shot fired or multiple, nor the type of shot used.
We also don't know if the drone was over the property of the guy who shot at it, because if it wasn't, then it wasn't his call to shoot it.
That, and people generally don't like guns being shot near their homes at all.

Nothing compared to a good WoW patch...

You guys haven't mentioned how stupid and dangerous it is to shoot a gun in the air. It's especially dangerous if you're not shooting directly up in the air.
There are many cases where if you shoot a gun up at an angle, the bullet can kill someone who just happens to be on the bullets path.
Projectiles don't really lose much on their horizontal velocity, so it can still do a lot of damage. Sure, he hit his target, but what if he missed?

Once again, you have the highest level of hostility in this entire thread. And before you tell me that I'm refusing to read what you read, the only reason why I am responding is because I've read what you said. You are the angriest person in this thread, and you have the thickest skull, and you are the most hypocritical of everyone here. I am in agreement with the others that you do not provide any real counter arguments other than saying that the points they bring up cannot be confirmed and therefore aren't credible. Sure, I'll give you that, but I have yet to see another strong counter to anything else anyone brings up.

Your comments are even more vile than those you spit back at. You claim that there's arbitrary or irrelevant information, yet I've yet to see you bring relevant information yourself. You should just stop making yourself look bad, because everyone who sees this topic is in disagreement with you. There are many more who choose not to speak on this matter. I have managed to keep my tongue for 7 pages. I couldn't keep it held down any longer, seeing how ridiculous your replies look as well as your blatant disregard for any sort of information, while not referencing anything related to the information given, which leads me to believe that you brushed it off and didn't even read it.
Another issue is, whenever asked for any information, you misdirect. When asked about the stuff you called out, you just redirected people to the thread. If you want to be credible in your arguments, you don't trust the person you're arguing with to find information like that on their own. You give it to them so that they do not get confused and they don't pull up the wrong points. Regardless, I read on the past few pages of the thread and see a hypocrite who can't bring up any legitimate counters to the arguments aside from the sources not being credible.

Nothing in this argument is being brought except for Gerdauf's replies and how they lack enough content in them to sum up a legitimate counter argument, as well as his blatant hypocrisy.

I would say you are being very similar to the journalists; You refuse to bring anything into this topic at all. While you are definitely more vocal about it than the journalists, your actions are those of the journalist. You're brushing everything off and saying that the person you are arguing with is doing the same. While they may be bringing information and more sources into the debate, you clearly are not.
