Welp, the new Nvidia driver came out, so time to test Freesync on my 1080ti!

    Just today?  Damn.. I looked last night and didn't see anything.  Time to experiment when I get home.

    Well from one test it seems that my LG monitor worked very fine, but only on "extended" freesync range. When i set the freesync to "basic" then the games would start to glitch out.

    Which LG monitor do you have?

    @dizmo LG UD27 58-B

    Right now it seems very fine, no tearing to be seen, and no other problems.

    Interesting! Sadly, I just realized you can only do Adaptive Sync over DP with Nvidia...so no Nvidia card for me.

    @dizmo I wouldnt buy a nvidia card for a freesync support, as you might have problems with some monitors etc. I would still take an amd card, if they had something 1080ti beating.

    Truth. Alas, they don't. The RX580 actually doesn't do terribly with The Division though, probably on par or better than the 980 I'd be replacing, so I'll pick one up to enable the higher refresh rate and Freesync on my monitor.
