Dude that 2080ti is going to die. 1100 on mem clock WITHOUT knowing the temps of the vram is basically BEGGING for a dead card ESPECIALLY when mining. Stay at stock or at best an underclock and leave them be. It has nividia turboboost so it will go as high as it can where it was tested.

Thanks for the suggestion, I guess it's gonna be the first thing im gonna upgrade soon... If I try for a GPU I'm gonna end up starving for a month lol

that was hundreds of windows , steam , driver , and games updates ago

consistency over a 3 years period with absolutely no regard into the software being used will yield inconsistent results. You cannot expect a machine to be consistent if nothing about it is consistent.

Ram is cheap right now so it is a good time to upgrade.

Some of the ram I use is from my 2016 i7 6700k build so it can last a long time.

I didn't want to be sarcastic. Even I searched for Asus motherboards. Don't get me wrong Asus motherboards are good. Just sometimes the price can be high or the motherboard will not be the best.

Usually the only OC version of a card worth it would be like a EVGA FTW as your usually getting a better binned die. Outside of that I just OC myself.

So after you realizing that you guys were using pcpartpicker I went on there and end up getting him the all the stuff from their "Magnificent Intel Gaming Guide."  Guess I am spoiling him a bit as ended up going over budget.  I appreciate all of the advise.  Thank you.

First and foremost: You have to refill the reservoir, and if anything goes wrong (corrosion, leaking, etc) that's just more money spent. AIO's for the CPU only like the Corsair H100i v2 are mostly safe from those issues and require no maintenance.

DOGEY reacted to 3 Lions in I want to upgrade my graphics card but I don't know anything about computers.
Yes the iGPU on the 2200G is slower than the 750Ti but realistically both solutions in raw graphics performance are not going to be mind blowing by any stretch of the imagination. The 2200G is however a better CPU upgrade as it tears any FX CPU apart in raw performance and the 2200G is a much more power efficient chip than any FX CPU could ever be.

Credit to @Starelementpokeand @Energycore for helping out with this long-awaited refresh of the old PSU tier list by Aniallation (who previously went several months without logging in), leaving the old list in need of help. This is simply an update of the list that was flawed in creation by the PCMR subreddit and in dire need of a refresh.

This list is subject to change as new PSUs come out on a regular basis and standards may change or issues with units on the list may develop. A list of PSUs awaiting a tier on this list is at the bottom.

That is why partitioning big HDD for system is good idea - you can clone system without all games etc. But not when you have single partition. Unless of course amount of data is smaller that your SSD - then cloning is possible.
