  1. So i should look if it increases and if it gets worse i should replace it, right?
  2. I ran a chkdsk and there were 0 KB in bad/defect sectors. I will back my Documents and other crucial data up.
  3. Hey guys, i randomly used CrystalDiskInfo and stepped upon this. What does that mean? Is it really dangerous and do i have to backup urgently? The HDD is mostly used for Games and Videos and i could move Documents easily to my SSD. I used other tools like WD Diagnostics and it said that the disk is in a "good" state. Speccy also indicated "good" state so why is CrystalDiskInfo indicating Caution? I hope someone can explain me the world of the disks
  4. Did u see the difference between TN and VA panels in person? How could u compare that?
  5. Hi linustechtips Community. I already have a thread about three other monitors but i got no answer on my following questions and i decided to create a new thread for a final comparison. Moderators can close my previous thread. Lenovo Legion y25f-10 (TN Panel, 1ms, 144hz, AMD FreeSync, Swivel, Pivot, Height Adjustable, Tiltable, certified Eye Comfort, Vesa mount, 24.5 inch) for 254,00 Euro https://us.hardware.info/product/425692/lenovo-legion-y25f-10/testresults . or HP 27X Curved (VA Panel, 5ms, 144hz, AMD Freesync, only Tiltable, extra Vesa mount bracket needed, 3x USB Hubs and Headphone jack, 27 inch) for € 255,00 + DisplayPort cable ~15 Euro = ~270 Euro Not tested on Input lag. Both are 1080p since my GTX 1060 6GB isnt future proof for 1440p gaming. The use of the monitor will be for gaming: Overwatch, League of Legends, CS:GO, Battlefield, some AAA-titles But i like great colors for some Netflix or Videos aswell. You can also mind alternative Monitors that are available in Germany and are under 280 Euros. My computer specs for 1440p are written in my profile. So now the things i have in mind: With the HP 27X Curved i will have lower pixel density and less sharpness but because it has a VA-Panel i should get better view angles and colors right? It also has 8-bit colors. The Lenovo Legion has only 6-bit with FRC with sRGB 98 percent. The Lenovo has HDR. Here is the link with extra stats for every one of these monitors: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/f18769c74 Is the extra 15 Euro for the DisplayPort cable and VA-Panel worth it? While the Lenovo has better Response time and better pixel density (89 PPI vs 81 PPI) I am confused and i would like some advice from u guys Have a great day, RefrainS
  6. Thank you guys! Since i dont want to upgrade my graphics card for atleast 1 year so i guess i will take the HP. Since the HP is only sending a HDMI cable within its package, i need to buy a Displayport cable for the full 144hz. Where can i find Displayport cables suitable for 1080p 144hz?
  7. Hey guys, i am planning to buy a new 144hz monitor for my gaming computer. It is hard for me to decide which monitor i should buy. Since i am from Germany and most of u guys are probably from NA i am going to post the monitors. Which from of these 3 should i probably buy? First of all my computer specs (if someone wants to recommend 1440p or an alternative) GTX 1060 6 GB, Ryzen 5 1600 3,8 OC, 16 GB RAM 3200 mHz. My budget is maximum 300 Euro. Monitors: HP 27x Curved (1AT01AA) for 250 Euro Lenovo y27f (65BFGAC1EU) for 280 Euro Acer ED273Awidpx for 250 Euro Every monitor is 27" and i am aware of the lower pixel density at 1080p but i am not sure if my computer specs can handle higher resolutions effectively. And i don't know if the tradeoff 1080p 144hz vs 1440p 60hz is worth it. If i am posting the thread in the wrong section, please move it since i am not aware of it. I would be happy for an answer Sorry for my bad english.
