  1. That Bykski external radiaor is not 3x 360mm radiators. I thought it looked interesting so I went to the site to take a look and it's showing as 1 giant ass 1080mm radiator. https://www.bykski.us/collections/external-liquid-cooling-kits/products/bykski-1080-external-liquid-cooling-station-black-b-1080-cec-x
  2. For fun. Asmongold reacts to Linus's reaction to Amongold's reaction to the Linus's review of the Starforge PC.
  3. Not sure if this is the right section but though I should post it here. Asmongold watching LTT's review of the Starforge PC.
  4. What is the name of the floor mat? I can't seem to find it online.
  5. never mind I found the USB 2 header on the board.
  6. Is there an adapter out there that will allow me to use the USB3 Headers on my motherboard to connect the USB2 Front panel connector to my motherboard and still have functional ports? I got a Define R6 but the MB I have doesn't have any USB2 headers. It does have 2x USB3 headers. Didn't know if this was actually possible or not. I saw adapters being sold on online, but didn't know if they would work or was like the DIMM to M.2 SSD adapter scam that Linus did a video on.
  7. Looking to cool a i9-9900K in a new build. Is there any point in getting an AIO or water cooling in general nowadays with today's air coolers? Looking to get either the Noctua DH-15S, Noctua NH-U12A, or an EVGA CLC 280.
  8. This is my thoughts exactly. My thoughts every time tries to do a video on his storage system, Is why isn't Linus actually investing into a real enterprise storage like the Dell Compellent. It's vastly better than 45 Drive Solution he's using and price point is competitive once you enter the petabyte space. Management of those systems are fairly easy. Expandability is easier and adding performance tiers into the mix is also vastly easier.
  9. Hmmm... You should enclosing this area so you can opening it the public for the LTT Gaming Café.
  10. I'm looking into building a HTPC. Would like to be able to able to play 4K Blu-ray disc as well. Does anyone know if anyone make a 4K Blu-ray rom drive for the US market?
  11. Same with UNRAID but my thought was with why not use Hyper-V with RemoteFX and Discrete Device Assignment (DDA). The only gotcha I know with RemoteFX you can't have different type of video cards for it to work, they all have to be the same. I have my doubts that he's going to run a really long cable for the video, mouse, keyboard to each desk. Unless he plans to move all this editors into his conference room permanently and have work there so they can have the short run of cables to the central tower. But that would be silly (But then again this is Linus and doing silly to bat shit crazy is what he does to keep his video entertaining). To see this as a better use case, they all be connected via RDP and you can have RDP redirection USB devices on their local system in their VM.
  12. I want to upgrade my system (current using an i7-4770K OC to 4.1) but I'm on the fence about getting what is available now (either the 8700K, 2700X, or a Gen 2 Threadripper) or should I wait until Intel releases their 9th gen since it's coming out in a few months. The main use for the system is games like Destiny 2. I've been toying the idea with getting a 12G 12TB SAS drives and cards for the new system as well, so I can combine the server that I'm using for my HyperV lab into one system. Which is a Dual Xeon E5-2630 with 128GB RAM. Which in truth I'm barely using a quarter of the what is available on that system.
