  1. I wonder if screen door would be noticeable on an IPS panel at 27"
  2. That's what I was afraid of What is your opinion on games like overwatch and fortnite using an IPS panel? Is the input lag really that noticeable compared to TN? I read comments about how they felt "slow" compared to TN.
  3. Hello all, I recently purchased a ASUS VG278Q 27” Full HD 1080p 144Hz monitor and was wondering if anyone else sees what I see at high FPS.. If you look really close at your monitor you can see each pixel square. Well, I can see those pixel lines and they're pretty pronounced when (and only when) I am moving diagonally or an object is moving quickly on the screen and its insanely distracting/driving me nuts. I really only play fortnite and overwatch but I occasionally get on WoW and could see the same thing pronounced whenever I ran diagonally. I sit probably 2 or 2 1/2 ft from the screen. I have 144hz enabled and also have adaptive sync enabled with the new update. I really want to say this is just a 27" trait since its 1080p? Does anyone else see this kind of thing or am I crazy? My setup is: i5 8400 gtx 1060 6gb 2666 ram 1tb nvme m.2
  4. It's a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD R2 8GB
  5. Hi all, I have a GIGABYTE 960 4gb OC edition and recently bought a 144hz monitor. I mainly play WoW and Fortnite. I'm also a designer so I use photoshop, ai, etc. I have my settings turned up to 10 and I turned down view distance (7), environment detail (8), and ground clutter (7). I also set shadow quality to high. Running around in Dalaran I get 40-65 FPS and basically same in Orgrimmar. I probably average 70-80 in BGs. That being said, I feel like I'm not utilizing the full potential of my monitor except for when I'm able to see 100+ FPS. Don't get me wrong though moving to it feels way smoother even at 40-60 fps, lol. Now that the GPU prices are starting to come down I have been looking on craigslist and letgo to see if anyone is upgrading. I found a guy that's selling a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 for $280. He says the card has never been overclocked and in great condition. Would it be worth it to buy this or just wait a little longer and buy new? How low do you guys think the 1070 will get? TL;DR I'm looking to upgrade from a gigabyte 960 4gb OC (I only play WoW and Fortnite at 144hz) to a 1070 and found one craigslist for $280. Is it worth it? How low will the 1070 get and should I just wait to buy new. Thanks for any opinions on this.
