  1. It did cover that and i do want to over clock because it is also going to be used for gaming at the same time, and thanks for the hel.
  2. Im going to college Computer Netwroking and Technology and i need a CPU that i can run virtual programs. When looking at the info between on intell.com, it said that they both do but i dont know which one i should get because i dont know alot about all the stuff CPU are used for, like Intel vPro Technology? can someone enlighten me please
  3. why would i put a single rad cooler on the CPU when you should go with the dual because they would way better (even when not over clocking) and when did water cooling turn into builds all the info i get is blah blah blah get a CPU that can over clock because that's the only thing CPU are good for. I asked one question about rad placement and get your build should have over clocking your don't need visualization blah blah blah this is the computer i want you to build because I'M a pro and know everything that you are going to be doing on the computer later on in your life.
  4. my class mate said that i need to be able to visualize for class so i cant do the 4770K its for gaming, streaming, home entertainment, everyday use. i making a computer that will really be never shut off thus the build and you can Over Clock the one I am getting just not as much as the 4770K
  5. Okay so im looking at the Phantom 820 and i was wondering if i could mount a triple 120mm rad on the top and still be able to have a optical driver too or would i be better off going with a dual 120mm rad there will be a second rad placed at the bottom of the of the case i will be pulling the bottom hard drive bay out. here is a list of my parts that im going to have in the computer the fans will be replace with either the Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition or the Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition i just dont know how many i will need and also there will be another 16gb of ram and another video card later down the line when is have some more money. thus is the reason why i have the 860w power supply and also what is a good pump and rez combo because that will be going right under the optical drive unless you know of a something that would work better then that. 6. the k's you cant visualizes with i know this because some of my class mate that are further a head in the program found it out the hard way
  7. Hi, so i probably look really needy now because i keep asking stuff on here everyday. this computer will be used for high end gaming and photo shop, modding stuff like the and multi mead center. so buying a Mercury S8 and a Mercury S8 Pedestal and some other stuff on my wishlist. the over all price will be around $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 USD. so one of the questions is, i was wondering where i should put the rads and what size should I put because I'm not sure. the loop will have 2 blocks as of now a its will have a CPU block and a GPU block so fare i might double the GPU blocks but not sure if i want to yet. the second question i have is about a res and a pump. the case will have windows on the side panels so that you can see into it, so i would like a cool looking res buts i don't want to sacrifice quality for a cool looking one. here is two parts lists that i was think about. let me know what you think and i know is missing the Video Card and that's because im not sure on that i do have a few ideas but let me know what you think i should it can be one or two cards. first Total: $2861.91 CPU Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Combo or $302.98 Motherboard Asus Maximus VI Extreme ATX LGA1150 Combo or $376.99 Memory Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 $144.99 Storage Samsung EVO 1TB 2.5" SSD $499.99 Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM $109.99 Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM $109.99 Sound Card Asus Xonar Phoebus $178.98 Power Supply Corsair 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V $289.99 Optical Drive Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer (Purchased) $0.00 Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional (32/64-bit) (Purchased) $0.00 Mouse Razer Naga 2012 Wired Laser (Purchased) $0.00 Custom PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8in. x 5/8in. 8. hi, so I'm build a computer with a custom loop. and i might sound like a noob asking this but im going to anyways. so the case that I am going to be using is a Mercury S8 and and i was thinking that i would put a 360mm rad 3 X 120mm on the top the i would but another 360mm in the Mercury S8 Pedestal. the question is could i put a 240mm 2 X120mm rad going up right in under the flex bay (where you put a optical drive) or would i be better off putting another 360mm rad in pedestal along with the other one. the loop will have a cpu block gpu block and maybe another gpu block if i decide to sli my cards together.
  9. do you know any that would look good with a red black theme with silver compression fittings and i was also looking at the FrozenQ Liquid Fusion V Series 250mm Reservoir - Red, is this a good res or should i go with something simple
  10. so i would like to water cool a computer that i have to build for my collage class the build will be 2k-5k USD with some wiggle room if i need it but the problem I'm having is that i don't know how many rads I'm going to have for the build it will have. also is there any website that will let you build a computer and it will show you what it looks like so you can see what the computer will look like at the end?
  11. Im not sure what the class is called but it for computer networking technolgies class and i have to build a computer for one of the classes and the water cooling is partaly for fun but also ive always wanted a water cooled system.
  12. Well I have to build it for one of my computer classes next semester and it is going to be used for game, media Center, and everyday use but I want it to have all the power I need of I end up doing something like graphics Design or something like that
  13. I forgot to put the price range that im guessing at if $3,00-$5,000 USD
  14. I have to build a new computer for my college class next semester and I’m not sure what all I have is a good build and I would also like to water cool it if I could. It is also going to be a red and black theme. Or should I just wait to pick the parts for the computer till the beginning of the semester? The main reason that I’m doing this parts build is so that I have a general price for the computer build with some wiggle room on the price. Here is a list of specs Intel Core i7-4770k CPU 2 Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video card Asus Maximus VI Extreme ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance Pro 16Gn (2 X 8GB) DDR3-24000 (I might put another 16GB in it just for fun) Intel 530 240 GB 2.5 “SSD 3 3TB 3.5" Seagate Barracuda HDD Corsair 1200W 80= Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply I would like to put 2 of the 3 Hard Drives in to a Raid Array but I don’t know that raid and what a good Raid Card is. So if you know then will you please let me know? It will have Wi-Fi card but I don’t know what one to get right now over even if i should get one because the motherboard has one that it comes with but I’m not sure how good of a card it is. It might end up have a wired Network card if the teacher doesn’t let me use the stander ports on the motherboard. On the water cooling part I don’t know what all I would need. So if you could tell me what a good CPU and GPU block, pump, reservoir, tubing, radiators and how many of them I should have. This is my first build with water cooling The Case will be picked out around how many radiators and the size of them. If there is anything else you would suggest me putting in this computer then let me know.
