im thinking of building a pc to play movies and tv shows on my 4k tv, and also be able to move it over to my desk to record gameplay from my gaming pc without sacrificing performance from the game. it needs to be small form factor, though im not sure whether i would still need a capture card and how that would work in a small form factor build along side a graphics card. and my budget is around $750 U.S. I am not really sure where to start as i have only built one pc before with a mid taower case.

So I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU cooler. Upgraded to an Asus rog maximus xi hero wifi and a corsair h100i rgb platinum aio. After plugging everything in the aio would not cool the cpu. While taking the CPU ot to reapply thermal paste I dropped it landing in the socket bending one of the pins along the center edge. Should I se about trying tho fix it or should I just cut my losses and but a rodent motherboard

So I looked into the pci Wi-Fi and it appears to fit my needs, not planning to be online gaming often, so I added it the build. Are some addition fans for the top something I should consider adding, or are they something that can wait for a later date. Would my original motherboard choice work with this build. One of my must haves is onboard WiFi for the motherboard since my house is old and has only a few Ethernet outlets.
