Recently I have been experiencing an issue with my connection (wired) where my ping would just sky rocket out of nowhere (up to 800ms), lasting up to a minute or two before steadily going back down (around 30ms). This occurs while doing simple browsing, speaking to others via discord voice chat and or playing video games (Rocket League, Fortnite, PUBG, CIV V).
[NOTE]: I use powerline adapters for my ethernet connection. (Similiar To This)
I have attempted:
Resetting the router
ipconfig /release, /renew, /flushdns
Changing outlets for my ethernet powerline adapters
Shutting off my router (and unplugging it) for 2 minutes
Shutting off my PC (and unplugging it) for 2 minutes
Turned Windows Firewall On/Off
Closed all non essential programs running in the background while testing
Updated my Network Adapter Driver (Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller)
Pinged google.com via command prompt (Results)
Here are my Speedtest results at the time of posting.
