  1. Alright, I'm in safe mode and I'm going to remove the drivers, which NVIDIA drivers should I go back to, any recommendations?
  2. Could I get an official link for DDU? There's quite a lot of links
  3. Hey everyone, Recently I've been having issues getting BSOD on my computer, DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. They seem to come out of nowhere. I reinstalled Windows hoping for a change, but I still get the BSOD. I went to investigate the memory dump using "BlueScreenView". Bug check code is: 0x00000133. Parameter 1: 0x0000000000000000 Parameter 2: 0x0000000000000501 Parameter 3: 0x0000000000000500 Parameter 4: 0xfffff80745171358 It hasn't given me a bug check string or any cause by driver, so I'm a bit stuck. Most information points towards NVIDIA drivers but I can't be too sure. Could I get some opinions? Thanks
  4. Alright, well seems like I'll just avoid TN then. So what would you recommend?
  5. Hello everyone. I'm considering getting a monitor soon, probably just a 1080p 60hz vanilla monitor. I already have a monitor currently and I like to use it as a portrait monitor. The small problem is that my reflection onto the monitor is making the monitor darker at certain angles which is pretty annoying, so I'm hoping the monitor I buy will not have this issue. But the problem is, how do I monitor will not have this kind of issue? For example do certain types of monitors not do this? I'm not very knowledgeable on monitors and displays exactly so I'm hoping to learn a bit more by your answers!
  6. well the drivers were in the middle of installing and when it went to change the resolution I lost all display, and i wouldnt be able to try another port as my monitor only has 1 port it can use for display
  7. Hi, I got my sister a GT 710 for her first computer, the problem is that whenever I try to install NVIDIA drivers or do Windows Updates, it doesn't give out a display. I have a feeling it does this when it tries to change the resolution to native as whenever the NVIDIA drivers are installing, it looks like it's changing resolution to native but then the display goes. The display is a 1650 * 1050 60hz. What could I do about this, and could this be a faulty GT 710? Thanks!
  8. Well I found out the issue by talking to Gigabyte, the BIOS update doesn't support the CPU I was using. I have currently sent the motherboard to them and they'll do the update there, and send it back.
  9. Tried out putting a speaker in, got no beep codes.
  10. You wanna know what’s even stranger? I tried booting with my 1600X. Still no display.
  11. The motherboard I’m using is the Gigabyte A320M-S2H. Would you mind checking if it’s compatible?
  12. Yeah when i tried putting a gpu in I put it into the gpu dvi-d port and the cpu is an a10 9700
  13. Hey, It’s my Sisters birthday coming up (December 5th). And I’m getting her a PC, it’s nothing too great but a PC nonetheless. I’ve put together the motherboard, cpu, cpu cooler, ram, psu. This rig will have a graphics card eventually or an apu, but regardless I’ll be using the motherboards DVI-D to connect the display up which is the main problem. The power works fine, the fans are running but there is no display to the monitor. The monitor knows there is a DVI-D connection but the computer won’t give it a display. What could have caused this? And how could I solve it? Ways I’ve tried to fix it: -Put in a graphics card -replace cpu -replace ram -replace psu I’m not sure where to go from here so I’m hoping to get some other ways to troubleshoot this, thanks!
