  1. Basically it's been up on Kijiji for the past few months (a safer Canadian Craigslist I guess) and I threw it up on eBay but I don't want to risk selling to the states and getting scammed. Kijiji isn't totally flooded with ads but I'll be sure to check out Craigslist.
  2. I'm in Canada. Should I be doing an apples to apples comparison (same laptop) or looking for one with same specs and touchscreen etc.
  3. Hi guys, I've been trying to do a lot of research but I feel like the situation I'm in is an awkward middle ground. I've been trying to sell my Lenovo Flex 3 15" for the last few months but I don't really know of I'm marketing/selling it the way it should be. It was purchased at $1200 in 2014. Specs- Core i7 5500U 8gb DDR3 RAM 1tb hdd 360° touchscreen I swapped the HDD for an SSD while I used it but swapped the HDD back in once I built myself a PC. While the SSD was in it was totally usable and the battery life wasn't awful (3-4 hours). I kept it in good condition. Is $400 too ambitious of an asking price on the local classifieds? I don't think it's at the point of being a salvage computer, even though it's going on 5 years old now. Should I be following some kind of rule of thumb for value? Thanks and let me know if pictures are necessary.
  4. Got it idk why I was thinking second gen lol
  5. Will the rx480 not be good enough for 1080p60 for games as demanding as PUBG?
  6. Would I have to upgrade the mobo for that? And would a 1 gen bump make that big of a difference?
  7. Ok so I'm trying to build my first gaming PC using a crap ton of old and used parts. Right now I'm using my mom's old cpu mobo and ram combo (i5 3350p, b75 and 16gb DDR3 1600 MHz). Im using her old case as well and I already have both SSD and HDD storage and a 600W bronze psu. However, I've done my research and decided on getting an rx480 for 1080p gaming on a 60hz monitor. Im wondering how much the cpu is going to bottleneck my rig, and if it's worth upping the cpu mobo and ram to something more current like a 2200g. I really would rather not because of ram prices rn but if it will severely affect my gaming performance (like going from low or medium to ultra graphics on the 1080p 60hz monitor for PUBG) should I do it? Iwould also like recommendations on what a good cpu would be to balance out the build because I'm pretty set on the rx480 which I was able to pick up pretty cheap used. Idon't really have a budget in mind for the 3 parts but I don't see it going much higher $500 CAD anyways for 1080p gaming. This is my first post and any forum etiquette and post "rules" would be appreciated. Thanks. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Crazsped/saved/CmkdXL
