ok good to know. Thanks. He says that his old pc with an i5 6402p and rx480 outperformed this r5 2600 1070 ti machine, which isnt right. Would the ram be the issue, or does he need something like a bios update or something else.

unfortunately ive used about 900 GB. Sorry to be a drag but why is is a pain to have windows on the SSD and HDD?

Why do I have to wipe my hard drive? can i just install windows clean on the ssd or do I have to get the stuff off my hard drive and migrate everything on the HDD to the SSD?

...i threw it all away when i got it. is that the only way or will windows still notice that i have everything else the same?

Hi, I recently got a SanDisk 240gb SSD. I want to move my operating system (Windows 10 64-bit) to my new SSD. I have noticed that my Windows is OEM so I dont think I can use a key to transfer it. If I just do a clean install of windows onto the ssd, will it deactivate my current windows? I dont want to have an unactivated windows or pay for a new windows license, so is there a way to do that or is it stuck here? Note that I do have a couple of games on my SSD already if that matters. I also dont want to transfer all of my 1tb HDD like all of the youtube videos say to do.

my friend just built a pc yesterday with a ryzen 5 1600, 8gb ddr4 2400, gtx 1070 ti. He said he updated his drivers and everything but still is getting 100 fps in csgo, a not very demanding title. He said he had a micro atx mobo with only 1 pciE slot so i dont think he put it in the wrong one. Any ideas? All of his parts were brand new in case you're wondering.

Maybe i live under a rock and have just never heard of PNY. It was the double fan version. Do you think that in a ocuple months that will be a good option once the 11 series cards come out and the prices drop, or should a spend extra on a future-proof 11 series card?
