  1. To clear up any confusion (all on my part), this will just work on the thing and i can use it like any Pi, just with Armbian instead of Raspian right?
  2. HI! I struggle to find information on the internet regarding this, so i decided to ask here (sorry if this isnt the correct place for it) I was looking at the used market for some Raspberry Pi3b or PI4b alternatives as they are cheaper than the original, and i stumbled upon this: BIGTREETECH CB1 V2.1 and the adapter for it. Now im well aware that this system is meant to be used for a 3D printer and run Klipper, but is there anything stopping me from just running Raspbian Bullseye on it? Is it locked down to not allow other OS versions outside of Klipper? It seems like the pinout is unchanged compared to a raspberry pi4b, but i wanted to ask here in case some of you guys know this better. Thanks
  3. Okay, i did some more digging (im really sorry that this thread is such a lackluster). For clarification, it's a KFA2 RTX 2060 WHITE Mini (1-click oc) card. I found that the VBIOS for this card is currently 90.06.30.00.AD. Now, i cant find this card's intended bios version online, but what i did find is that larger GALAX and KFA2 cards have this vbios, while the smaller (physically same card as mine, but with the GALAX brand) GALAX 2060 WHITE Mini's VBIOS is 90.06.30.00.86. The mismatch between these two identical cards with different logos makes me think that the previous owner did some bios flashing and that is what is causing my anomalies. I'd like for someone to check what i found and if i should try flashing it to the 86 version (assuming that the bios was flashed to the AD version) as i don't want to create more unnessecary issues with it.
  4. No hard feelings from my side. Agree that i couldve tried to word it better.
  5. Sounds rather condecending tbh, but that's the least of my problems right now. I guess i'll keep waiting for someone who can help me with my issue / has a way to somehow magically make it so that the gpu doesnt boost itself to infinity, when it's overriding msi afterburner settings.
  6. Tripping the powersupply would turn the system off though no? What is currently happening is that the screen goes black and the fans ramp up after it reaches clock speeds way above it's limit, so im trying my best to find something that would put a harder limit on it's clock speeds, as msi afterburner seems to be overriden by the card
  7. Hi. I got an RTX 2060 for repairs. The pc fully crashes when it's hit by a load, but furmark can run no problems. Temperature is not a problem. After some digging, the card is boosting to 1950-1980mhz on it's own, when it's boost clock is rated at 1710mhz. After many tries, i've found that the sudden boost to 1950+ is the probable cause for the crashing. but the issue is that through MSI afterburner, i've tried to set the core clock -210 lower than the 0 point in afterburner. But it seems to ignore it and boost back to 1950. I've only had a handful of tries where it didnt try to boost above the limit i set. Then in some time it spikes again and crashes. This usually happens while alt tabbing, swapping games, or changing major settings. I tried to set a voltage curve in msi afterburner, that didnt seem to work either. nvidia debugging mode didnt help. Looking for more suggestions as to how to fix this / how to disable nvidia boost features
  8. I'd bother cause i find it fun. Also they go for 10-15€ where i live. Would make it worth to upgrade the already slow system my relatives have (not everyone can afford top of the line new stuff)
  9. I remember watching LTT's old video on turning a mining 1060 without outputs into an actually usable card. Yet what made me wonder is if it still works, and if it matters that it's not a card that looks relatively normal. What i mean by this is that they used a gigabyte card with normal looking fans, yet im seeing lots of cards with only the radiators on them and no fans, the most basic essentials. (Will leave images of what i mean) Im just not sure if im missing any crucial details before i get this card for playing around Thanks in advance
  10. Where do I find old drivers? AMD page only shows me the newest ones.
  11. Hi, i get blackscreens (lasts for about 5 seconds) when I open some certain things such as youtube (tested the time between blackscreens, they appeared about 5 min 5 sec intervals), twitch, google sometimes and when i open valorant. It started to happen when I downloaded the newest AMD drivers for my Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB. At first I downloaded the other driver that was available for the card from AMD's site without uninstalling the previous drivers, that didnt work. Then I fully uninstalled AMD drivers to download the newest drivers again, still the same issue happened. This never happened with the previous drivers (that i forgot the version of) (as I was writing this, it blackscreened again) It doesnt happen in discord, league of legends or spotify. Thermals are good, nothing is overclocked, I dont know what to do anymore.
  12. I can't quite understand this. What if I DON'T have unlimited GPU power that I wont be upgrading any time soon? Shouldn't I just go with what fits the budget better, right? Especially when there is actually an unnoticable fps difference even after upgrading the GPU aswell. I meant with a higher end GPU so the GPU wouldn't bottleneck the CPU's (I checked multiple sources) Also I initially asked about mobos. IF I were to buy the i3 10100, what would be the optimal mobo?
