  1. So basicly my copy of Windows 10 on my HDD corrupted and there is no way to do a fresh install before it crashes. Is there a way for me to somehow install windows 10 on the HDD by plugging it into another machine (win 7) and running the installer on it? Fyi I have no discs or CDs/DVDs large enough for windows 10
  2. When checking with msi afterburner, it says its running at 100%. Maybe there is an issue with windows so it doesn't display it correctly.
  3. It maxes out at 81% usage on any bench mark I through at it.
  4. My A8-7650K used to run perfectly fine, but recently it is only reaching a max utilisation of 81%. Doing any sort of bios change reduces the amount more. Is there anything I could do to try rectify it for the next few months?
  5. I have just got my 1050ti, I have been using it for about a day and every single game I play, it doesn't max out. The CPU isn't maxing out and it is not thermal throttling. On still frames it uses 80% usage but spits out 1100 frames a second but in actually gameplay it is being used at 30% usage and is ranging between 30 to 60fps. And on other games it reaches 0 frames for a second then doesn't go higher than 30 FPS. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
  6. So I bought a prebuilt system 2 and a half years ago, I was planning to stick a 1050 ti in it when I spotted my CPUs power connector supports 8 pins but only a 4 pin connector plugged in, I'm sure it's only for the CPU but could there be any issues caused by this? Motherboard: GA-F2A68HM-HD2 CPU: A8-7650k
  7. I have bought an ASUS 1050 ti OC. Does it void the warranty if I enabled the boost clock as I would like to keep the warranty on it. I have seen that over clocking voids the warranty but I am not sure if boost clock comes under that.
  8. I am planning to upgrade my PC as it's no longer cut out for any games. I plan to only spend a maximum £200 on the cpu and motherboard. I have a Gtx 1050 ti and some ddr4 ram arriving soon and I am refusing my case and power supply. I was thinking of getting the Ryzen 5 1600 and the MSI B350M GAMING PRO, I am planning to keep the system for four years or longer, my budget can't increase. Would you recommend any changes to what I'm planning to get or would it be all fine? The overall cost is currently £195.
  9. Mhm, ik about downloading the drivers, it was more just about getting it in my pc as I've seen some people plugging stuff into graphics cards so I was just making sure.
  10. So just slot it in the slot and it would be working right?
  11. With an EVGA GTX GeForce 1050 To would you just stick it in the slot and it will work or is there any extra power cables required for it to work?
  12. So I guess I should upgrade to a newer board then. Any suggestions for a board and a CPU for about £100-125?
  13. I currently got an AMD A8-7650K, I'm wondering if I should replace it with a better cpu. I got a budget of about £90-100 and my motherboards socket is a FM2. I will be using it mostly for gaming. Any suggestions?
  14. I currently have an AMD A8-7650K with R7 graphics, but I have been looking at other CPUs and noticed they are significantly cheaper as they use the AM3 socket while mine uses the AM4 socket. Would it be better off to replace my motherboard and CPU to get better performance on a budget or keep my current motherboard and go for the more expensive CPU range?
  15. If this has solved this issue please close this thread. Many thanks.
  16. $50 isn't a lot for a graphics card, will you be using it to game or just general usage?
  17. Thanks for that information, I'll keep that in mind when I come around to installing it.
  18. Try the power supply calcutors and check your PSU's sticker to see if anything matches up
  19. If you are going to upgrade your cpu, to ahead but if not the 1050 may be the best option. Also check if your power supply can handle the upgrade or that will be more money blown.
  20. Get a 1050 or upgrade your cpu to an i5 and get the 1060 Ti. Cheapest option is to get a GTX 1050 if it fits your board and case.
  21. I currently have an AMD A8-7650k with R7 integrated graphics. Will it bottleneck if I upgrade to a GTX 1050 Ti SC? I'm also wondering if it will use the GPU instead of the APUs graphics.
