  1. Thanks for the Info, will definitely check the PSU box to determine if it's a revision that has native support, otherwise, we will just use the adapter included with gpu.
  2. Wow, I am genuinely speechless you guys, thank you so much for your well-thought-out and insightful input, I did not expect that many responses, thank you very much, will definitely check the power supply review and rating list so that I may spot something else in case this unit is out of stock at the time of purchase and check how it stacks up, does anyone know if GPU comes with 16pin adapter as PSU might not be the newest revision that comes with 16pin native connector? He is not interested in noise at all, it's gonna be rendering 24/7 so it should be a bit loud, and also, no Noctua fan can sound like old intel stock coolers so that's gonna be manageable.. Once again, thanks guys, you are lifesavers!
  3. Budget (including currency): / Country: Serbia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 3DS Max, V-ray, Blender Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello guys, i have a quick question that i need help with, namely my Friend is building a workstation PC, he will mostly do 3ds Max video rendering focused mostly around CPU rendering on Ryzen 9 7950X and Gpu is gonna be 4070 Ti, no overclocking, full stock, for CPU cooler we went with Noctua NH-D15 as it is the beefiest option available here, and i am not a fan of AIO coolers as system will be rendering files almost constantly (close to 24/7). My question is, what power supply is enough for this build? I have my eyes on: Seasonic Focus GX-850 80 Plus Gold 850W, will that be enough? Thanks in advance and best wishes!
  4. Just logged in to say a few things, recently i updated my old rig except my gpu (still saving on that one) i went from a CPU : AMD Athlon II X4 620 (2.6 Ghz OC to 3.0) RAM : Patriot 4x 2GB DDR3 1033 Mhz Mobo : Foxconn A88GMV AM3 GPU : XFX AMD Radeon R7 360 2 GB HDD : 500 GB WD Black (pretty quiet actually) upgraded to : CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 1600X (hyper 212 evo, running on stock) RAM :G. Skill Ripjaws V 3000Mhz 2x 8GB DDR4 Mobo : Asus ROG Strix X370-F Gaming GPU : (same) HDD : Patriot Burst 240GB SSD I am playing Fortnite, and i had 0 (zero) improvement in game, i knew the GPU is the bottleneck even before upgrade, but still i thought i will see at least some 10-15 fps difference as Athlon II X4 is pretty old (and i wanted to get rid of my old mobo as it caused random problems that solved randomly without fix), but looks like i was wrong, it's marvelous how old CPU's are actually strong in today's games, even for their part.
