I would also like the VODs on floatplane. But for now I watch them on twitch.tv/linustech. On Twitch you also get the pre-show, so much better than what you can get on YouTube. I Even have an active subscription to twitch.tv/linustech so I can watch the VODs without adds. In last WAN show @LinusTech mentioned to make the pre-show Floatplane exclusive, I really hope they don't do that until after the VODs are available on Floatplane. I really enjoy every second of the WAN show, the pre-show very much included, so much so I even subscribe to the Twitch channel (next to my Floatplane subscription).

The article on ZDNet also speaks of a way to recover: "members of the StackExchange Security forum have found that the hacker does not actually delete, but merele alters Git commit headers, meaning code commits can be recovered, in some cases." Also of course if you have a local clone of the repository which was up to date with the repository that has been compromised you can simply recover from there. And finally, while it might be not to difficult to restore your repository and close the security holes the ransom notes also threatens with making the code public, "private Git repositories were most likely compromised as well", which could still could be a mayor problem for those affected. @LoGiCalDrm I just noticed that you still have the "LMG Pilot" tag besides your post under your username. Do you also still have access to the Floatplane section of the forum? Are you still paying through the forum? Or any idea why you are still an "LMG Pilot"?

I also liked the forum still better than the dedicated website, mainly because I could much more easily track which videos I did or did not watch (I clicked Like on any and all I watched). But also the discussions on certain videos on the forum where just that much better, the comments section just isn't suitable for lengthy in dept discussions. And when the Floatplane uploads are not working I always appreciated the forum posts from @RILEYISMYNAME with the YouTube video so could still easily and directly view the video without waiting for the upload to be fixed and more importantly without going to YouTube myself. And a final reason that I'll mention why I still prefer the forum: the site simply is just still quite buggy for me now and again, while most of the times it works perfectly fine sometimes it doesn't. Like currently when I open https://www.floatplane.com/channel/linustechtips/home at first I do see a list of videos but after a second or so they disappear and I have to click the Videos tab first to be able to actually select a video. Also to be clear, I certainly do not dislike the Floatplane website I actually kind of like it however, I simply like the forum more because it fits my use case better. And I also do understand why it currently is like it is with the reasons given here and elsewhere and I accept this current situation but I very much hope that this will change in the not so distant future.

For me the noise was most of the time just fine. However, one time I got a promotional "tiny" CD (not sure if there is an official name for those smaller CD's) which was glued to a bigger thing in the shape of a soccer jersey, and it made the most horrible and loud noise I ever heard from my optical drive. That thing most probably did not have it's centre of mass in the middle, or maybe it was just due too the shape and air resistance.

I recently bought a bunch of music CD's because I wanted to have the music and buying the singed CD's directly from the official merchandise shop was the the cheapest option. I think the digital download alternatives (from other sites) was about three times what I payed even including shipping, which was a bit less than half the cost. So yeah it was very useful to still have a working optical drive. However, I did have a little bit of a panic/shock when I first tried to read the CD's and they all showed as empty. Turned out there was some dust on the lens.

It's not just the Lambo Roast bags but also the Darkness Roast bags, they had a malfunction during the production and printing of both. I just got a separate mail for each of these, I ordered both after the coffee stream. The Darkness Roast will also be delayed until the 28th. I was hoping to be able to start the new year with some Lambo Roast, but I guess I'll now have to wait until the second week (international shipping). Guess this is what we get for pre-ordering.? However, the Lambo Roast could only be pre-ordered and I certainly do appreciate the open communication of Madrinas.

If you ask Alexa to blast your popcorn or you click the preset manually it will (probably) burn it either way, since it'll be same (wrong) factory preset. However, with Alexa integration (if the device actually is smart enough) you should be able to tell Alexa the preset was wrong and have it fixed for the next time, and that would be actually great. Also personally I know how all the functions of my microwave work and do use some of the presets. And I do see the added value of a voice controlled smart microwave (if it is smart enough) for a couple of reasons: reduction of manual operations needed; ability to create new and change presets.

Hmmm, I hoped that would have helped you. Since you say you did have everything working with two other CPU's I assume you do have both 2x4pin CPU power plugged into the motherboard and your RAM has no errors. But can't hurt to check again and run a memtest. Also if this all turns out into nothing, you maybe want to try your luck over at https://communities.intel.com usually someone from Intel support replies there with helpful information when the first post has a clear problem description and contains sufficient details.
