  1. Hey, I have a WD My Book external hard drive. I have used it for video projects in the past and it gives me a weird message that it cannot store a video file that is longer than 10 minutes. It can store multiple video files that collectively surpass that ten minute mark, it just won't store an individual file that is longer than 10 minutes. I have heard similar problems from friends who have used WD external hard drives before. Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed for the My Passport Pro Dual Thunderbolt External Drive?
  2. I found this gpu. Sapphire Dual-X R9 280 Graphics Card - 3GB GDDR5, 384-bit, PCIe 3.0 - 11230-00-20G Would it be able to operate Autodesk Inventor, be able to render 3d objects quickly, and be able to play high end graphic gaming?

  4. So, I should I put on Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.? Those kind of programs. Do I have to worry about any compatibility issues with having an Nvidia GPU with an AMD CPU?
  5. What would you guys recommend putting on the SSD drive other than the operating system? What would I gain from overclocking the gpu? Why is it necessary?
  6. Right now, not much. So I guess, I am looking to build something fairly cheap, but able to run Inventor without lag. That is one thing that will be a must have. I am not so concerned with what games I will be able to play. Probably around the $600 to $800 range, if that is possible. I am not looking to overclock anything.
  7. I am fairly new to the computer building world. I am looking to build a computer and was wondering what components should I look for with my rig. I already know what I will be doing with my desktop. Being an Engineering student, I am looking to build a computer that will be able to run Autodesk Inventor very well without any lag. I will be mainly using this rig for gaming and writing documents for my classes. I am looking to have an AMD FX 8350 Processor for the CPU, but as for the other components, I don't know what to look for. If anyone could recommend some components for the other things that I need, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Kokomo Joe
