  1. I mentionned I play World of Tanks which prefers more cores and I don't want a massive bottleneck, I know Minecraft doesn't care about the CPU much. You didn't mention the 3600X is your suggestion, you asked for the amount of money I'd be willing to throw... Edit, I would like to have a capable PC if I ever want to play something else than these games. So what is the cheapest CPU that would go well with a 2080 Super?
  2. I would like to not waste my money since I don't play triple A titles
  3. I get 105 FPS @ 2K on average in my favorite game, World of Tanks. What should I do? I got the cash ready to flow, Should I get a Ryzen 3600, 3600X, 3700X or 3800X? In terms of GPU, what should I get? 2070 Super or 2080 Super or I should wait for the next-gen considering I want to play Minecraft RTX @ 2K/60FPS minimum. My Rig : - Mobo : Gigabyte GA-AB350N-Gaming-WIFI-rev-1.0 - CPU : Ryzen 3 1300X stock - RAM : 2x8GB G.Skill TridentZ @ 3200MHz (XMP is on of course) - GPU : ZOTAC GTX 1060 AMP! Edition - PSU : EVGA 500B Storage : - HDD : WD Blue 1TB @ 7200RPM (WD10EZEX) - SSD SATA: Crucial MX300 275GB - SSD M.2. : Crucial P1 500GB
  4. It is at 1.35V. I checked my RAM some time ago and it showed no errors while being tested for 4 hours on MemTest86+
  5. Hello dear comrades, I have a problem of BSOD that won't stop no matter what I do... It happens when powering the computer, when playing games, when opening softwares, etc. I think it's my RAM modules that are incompatible with my system, but the BSOD wouldn't say Ntfs.sys is the file that caused the problem right? I've cleanly reinstalled Windows 10 multiple times over and it won't help. I even changed from my SATA SSD to a M.2. NVMe SSD and it did nothing. Updating my BIOS doesn't seem to help, I've done it 6 times now... Please help. 6. Already went through the Owner's Manual and didn't find XFR, Turbo, CPB, anything, I found Nothing.
  7. Wish it could be corrected by a BIOS update, unfortunately I have the very last BIOS update (F23) and I might have reset the BIOS some 25 times
  8. Hello everyone, I want to use VMs on my PC but I can't since AMD-V cannot be enabled on my mobo, I searched everywhere, but the setting is not in the BIOS. I got a Gigabyte GA-AB350N Gaming WiFi (B350 Chipset) What's even more outrageous, is that XFR, Core Performance Boost, etc. isn't there too, the B350 chipset is supposed to be able to enable it, it's basic, the chipset is able to overclock but not deal with XFR
  9. Can I stabilize the Voltage to a fixed one? Never mind, I tried and my PC wouldn't boot, I will RMA my mobo.
  10. Ryzen 3 1300X Added my specs in the signature
  11. PSU : EVGA 500B Mobo : Gigabyte AB350N-Gaming WiFi CPU : Ryzen 3 1300x
  12. Hi everyone, I talked about my stability issues to a fellow technician and he found that they could be caused by my CPU Voltage, so I went ahead and checked that up. All my settings are set to Default, however, my CPU under minor stress stays @ 3.5GHz (3.45GHz for minimum) and the Voltage varries by a huge margin, it constantly jumps to voltages between 1.26V and 1.48V, I really don't understand if that's normal, I have everything set to Auto. Thanks in advance
  13. Some friend in a small shop ran my PC on some company-owned software and my PC is neat, it has no problem what so ever. The weird thing is that my PC still experience the "glitches"... Don't know what to do. Thanks for all the help @HunterAP Really appreciated.
  14. Searched in the entire BIOS, found nothing, the glitch reappearred, this time, much worse, can't seem to find a stable overclocking... I tried for 4 hours now and I didn't find any stable configuration, they all end up in freezes... Kinda tired, will RMA my RAM and CPU, the worst is that I tested my RAM for 2 hours before using my completed build and nothing wrong, this is over my skills, I don't think I will be able to repair it.
  15. Searched the whole Manual and nothing called Boost except Game Boost or Core Performance Boost
  16. It says Core Performance Boost, I think it's a mix between XFR and Precision Boost, am I wrong ?
  17. The glitch is back! It happened twice, but it is much less pronounced, I think the answer lies in the Precision Boost... I have to activate it, but I don't know how
  18. Went to Peripherals -> AMD CBS -> NBIO Common Options -> and... There's only cTDP Control, Processor Temperature Control and Mode0 @HunterAP It seems like a manual overclock @ 3.7GHz, 1.35V allows the ram to clock at 3200MHz... I game-test my PC for 1 hour up to now, seems like it's working... Tried 3.9GHz w/ 1.4V, even though my PC gained much performance, it became much more unstable. Been playing for 3 hours straight and my PC seems much more stable than before, I will let you know if something ever happens.
  19. Would be great if I could enable XFR or Precision Boost, but I can't see it in the BIOS
