  1. hi thank you for responding. i can see how you may think that. but maybe i had to mention some points to better explane myself: first i'm doing this just because i work remotly with companies outside my country (i'm a freelance graphic designer) and my livelyhood depends on it. second there are news articles about what's happening here and you can read about it so that you can understand why i have to do this : {i put some of the articles down below} https://www.euronews.com/next/2022/11/06/iran-protests-vpn-use-soars-as-citizens-seek-way-around-internet-censorship https://mei.edu/publications/mahsa-amini-and-future-internet-repression-iran https://www.dw.com/en/iran-are-social-media-platforms-censoring-dissent/a-63347228 and the last point i really don't have that much skill to do anything remotely like hacking. i just wanna make a vpn so that me and my family and friends can use the free internet and the only resone i have to do all that stuff is because all the other vpn protocols have been disabled. you may get a solution like nord vpn or express or many other providers but we dont have that luxury because they are mostly on openvpn protocol and open vpn and 90 percent of other vpn protocols from pptp to wiregaurd and ip/sec open connect to a remote server are blocked and even attempting to connect to them without what i discribed in the OP is virtually impossible. i hope that i could clarify my situation and the reason of my OP. if you have any other questions or if you want to know how our commiunity is fighting againts all that i'm happy to answer. thank you. PS. you can see the other post that i have made in 2019 about what was going on then and we're going towords what i described then and since then i've been down this path trying and finding solutions and everytime they block us. and since they've got the GFW operitional it's getting harder and harder to find ways to find a workaround. at some point we're gonna ran out of ipv4 addresses that are not blocked by GFW. most of hetzner IP's have been blocked. this is an article about GFW https://protonvpn.com/blog/great-firewall-china/
  2. hi i have a situation i live in iran and the governmet has recently started to use GFW to block us from accessing the international internet and almost every vpn protocol has been filtered. the only solution that works right now is to have 2 servers one in a iran datacenter ( because the filtering is somewhat lower on them ) and a second server in an other country like germany. im using v2ray with xray core and the way im setting up my vpn is like this: i've installed a v2ray server on my germany server and mikrotik router os on my iran datacenter server. i've configured my mikrotik to take all traffic and requests that are send to it and forward them to my germany sever. the problem is our iran servers have a data limit for how much traffic can go through them on a monthly basis and i have to limit the number of people that can connect to a config that i made so the bandwith limit doesn't reach. but because i'm port-forwarding my v2ray server thinks that only one user is connecting to it because all the traffic is coming from one IP (my iran server ip). so i was thinking is there any way that i can limit the number of clients on mikrotik before it even gets to me second server? i want something like "forward all the request to port 123 to remote server on port 123 and limit 3 simultaneous source IP's or clients"
  3. again thanks for everything. last night our president gave out a statement that "we're hoping to make the iran's intranet better so in the near future we don't have a need for international internet services " so yeah they're gonna make that a permanent thing so in the near future we're gonna be just like north korea. that's awsome ?.
  4. thanks for replying i really appriciate it.
  5. thanks for the explaining. satelite internet is not an option because there were some people trying that and they cought them as terorists so the bottom line is that we're screwed and there's nothing we can do about it. the only option now is to find a way out of this hell-hole.
  6. hello everyone the reason i made this topic is that i hvave some questions about internet censorship done by the goverment and how to work around it. let me explain: i live in Iran and you might have heard that about two weeks ago the government limited the internet access of over 98% of the country so that we could only access their approved sites and services (only governmet assosiated sites and few websites that they had access to all the data that went through them ) for a week, they said it was for security reasons. (well that's what they said to the people and the world ) but they wanted to cover up the killing that they've done (about 1000 people) and they didn't wanted to the news to get out of the country. now that our internet is almost back to what it was (still very trash XD) i've started to ask around to see if there is any way to get around what they did if they do it again in the future . BTW : the vpns didn't work at all they some how blocked every ip address that was not approved by them. all that i could find out about what they did is that they blocked every packet and request to any site or services that wasn't approved by them. but some proxies worked but they got shutdown after an hour or so because the traffic would go up on that server or whatever and they would blocked it. sorry i couldn't explain it better but the truth is i really don't have any idea how to get around what they did hence i'm here asking if someone can help. thank you sorry it was long.

  11. i've been waiting for an update to fix this for a year and i've ha no luck . maybe the only thing i can do is to wait more . thanks for the reply by the way
  12. my timezone is manual you can see that in the picture it's not a timezone problem because when that happens my timezone is untouched and only clock falls 30 min behind but thank you anyway
  13. i've had this problem for over a year now with my windows clock the problem more often than not my windows clock falls exactly 30 minutes behind.when this happens it can be fixed by going to the set date/time setting and turning the [ set time automaticly ] toggle on and off. i've reinstalled windows 10+ times after this was originally happening and i've tried everything and nothing seems to work. what i've done : 1- updating my bios to the lastest version 2- changing the battry of my motherboard 3- going to the clock setting and puting it on internet time . 4- running a check on all the compunents to ensure they dont have any problem. 5- using windows without any applications { using windows the way it is before i install anything } for 5 days and it still happend . i really don't know what is causing this and it's really annoying . please if anyone one has any idea why this is happening help me figure it out. my clock settings are in the picture. my pc specs : mb:asrock fatality h97 performance cpu: intel core i3 4160 graphic: gtx960 psu: 600 w ram : 16 GB adata ddr3 2400 mhz
