  1. I have seen some bitcoin wallet folders and files... Not too familiar with crypto, could it be stored there?? I just asked about the seed phrase, he does not have it
  2. Yeah he used it after for around a year or two before getting a new PC.
  3. Hey guys, I have a big one... My buddy mined dogecoin back when it first came out and accumulated 76k worth. He reformatted his PC and didn't bother backing up his wallet because they were worth $20... And now it's around $30k... I have tried a few recovery software's with not much luck. I was able to pinpoint the sector of the WALLET.DAT file, but the file isn't showing up to recover. What recommendations do you guys have? Tried the following software: OSForensics, Recuuva, and EASEUS.. If found I will happily reward the person with ONE of the following (PS5,Xbox series X, RTX 3080, or some Doge ) Also, unsure if this was the correct place to post.
  4. Update: Tried disabling Discord and Nvidia Overylay. I have noticed this issue since I updated my graphics card driver...
  5. Here's a video of what I am seeing when loading up games. Only in the load screens / quick image changes. It displays for a split second then will go away. (This can happen a few times during the loading screen and a few times in game). Card: Gigabyte Arous 1080ti Xtreme edition Any advice and help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Lewis issue.mp4
  6. Looking for help with a build for my buddy. I'm not good at "budget" builds because I just want the latest and greatest... Blue or red team and green or red team it doesn't matter. His budget is around $750 USD ( I will be building it and shipping to him ). My goal for his build is to be able to play any game he wants to and have great upgradability. This is for the PC only. He has a monitor / peripherals. Thanks ! -Lewis
  7. I enjoyed Zelda quite a bit. Mario Maker 2 is a pretty solid choice as the games essentially endless. Smash is pretty fun ( especially with friends).
  8. 1 hour ago, FlappyBoobs said: All of this is besides the point, you still shouldn't be stealing software, and using "it's against the law for me to earn money" as an excuse to break the law is just hypocritical. ^This^ @OP The fact your that ignorant and so quick to say "There is no work" and "It's illegal at my age" is humorous. Also, posting this stating you pirate software what type of replies did you expect? Life isn't fair and things aren't going to get handed to you. I don't mean to come off as a prick, but you should work on your work ethic before you are stuck at a dead-end job hating your life. Be self-sufficient and work for what you want. It feels damn good to finally get something you've wanted and have been working hard for. There is no excuse for not being able to work. Even if it's something you don't like/don't want to do that's just life. Life isn't fair and if you want nice things and to be successful you need to put in the blood, sweat, and tears to get there. Best of luck, I hope you realize you can work. You can do anything you want in life as long as your dedicated... *Edit: You watch ads for money? Why not create a simple AHK script to automate it. Just my two sense.
  9. I would try a few fixes online, I haven't dealt with it myself my buddy had the issue. He didn't mind it and didn't have any hardware failure. If you can stand the sound I would leave it if not try a few fixes online, but be careful as some of the "fixes" can void your warranty...
  10. Probably Coil Whine, I would say it's not gonna harm anything it's more just annoying. There are many factors to why it could happen. Is it under load when it's happening? There is a few fixes online you could try.
  11. You can check this by putting the parts in pcpartpicker... I'm at work or I'd do it for you myself.
  12. Typical Laptop issues. You could try to get a laptop tray with fans to help cool it, or could prop it up for now. Should help a bit.
  13. From Microsoft's website... "Symptoms of infection vary from threat to threat. In general, threat activity can result in unusual system behaviors, including unexpected opening of windows, unusual network connections identified by your firewall, and decreased system performance."
  14. Good catch... I will verify the cables aren't loose once I get home. Thanks!
  15. Hasn't happened since, but I am worried shitless because I over think everything lol. I thought it could have been a loose cable but why did both monitors go black? Just a very odd issue that I have no idea how to troubleshoot...
  16. I was playing league of legends while watching YouTube on my side monitor when my screen's went black for a few seconds came back on (it did this a 3 times). I am unsure what caused this I am hoping for an answer as I overthink and worry. I checked my temps of both my graphics card and processor which were fine (50c). TIA for any help elevating my anxiety. PS. I did do a Windows Update lastnight and I am aware they're a little fucky. PC specs: Monitors 144hz Asus ROG 1080p monitor, 60hz AOC monitor Processor: i7 8700k GPU: Gigabyte Arous 1080ti Xtreme edition Mobo: B360m-DS3H Also, the display cables aren't more than 6 months old. Also, this hasn't happened since. Thanks, -LewisPark *Edit Graphics card driver is up to date.

  18. Hm... How old is your power supply? Might sound cheesy, but maybe run userbenchmark and see how everything is performing? Sure hope to god you don't have the same model 1080ti as myself...
  19. Have you tried switching the slot that the card is in?
  20. Do you have another computer that you could put the Graphics card in and run some tests? Just so we can rule out the GPU as the faulty part...
  21. To be honest I would go with the Crucial. It's not a big price gap between the others and the company is more known. I am sure you would rather buy a stick of ram for a little more money that you know won't cause you any issues/failures...
  22. I would go with Crucial. I have done a few budget builds and have resorted to this brand when the RAM prices were outrageous... So far they have not run into any issues, in fact, I used two 8gb sticks on my desktop when I built my pc. I only replaced to get a higher MHZ speed.
  23. Yeah, you have to do a fresh install. Windows Ties itself to your motherboard... It notes the following CPU, graphics, networking, audio, hard disk, and other components This is stored in a local file and transmitted to Microsoft when you activate windows You could just format the drives at the installation process of Windows. I would suggest getting a Windows 10 iso and creating a boot device via USB with Rufus. Go into boot options and boot off of the Flash Drive.
