  2. Tried the Klipschi Promedia 2.1 I didnt like them so they are going back Im reading reviews on the other Logitech speakers as spom of the speakers die ..These Klipschi say they die withink 4 months & for the price of $300 thats not cool so they are going back ... Still have my https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Z-2300-THX-Certified-200-Watt-Speaker/dp/B0002SQ2P2 but I know they are on there last legs I might keep them a bit longer till something else comes out really good...was hoping maybe logitech has older stock they can sell
  3. Im still on the fence but Ill take a look at your suggestion Thanks toobladink
  4. I'm in a small room ...but I do like sound.. so someone suggested this one https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JPOLLKE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These are the 2.1 THX certified Logitech setup I use and they sound amazing IMO. Clear audio quality, TONS of bass. What about these ? below https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX65239 In comparison to the ones mentioned? Thanks
  5. Hi, I have been on the fence for several years about replacing my aging speakers. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Z-2300-THX-Certified-Speaker-Subwoofer/dp/B0002SQ2P2/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=logitech+z2300+thx+certified+21&qid=1557356569&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmr0#customerReviews These have been out of production for a long time. I have had these for quite some time. Recently the place where you plug into the headset & control the volume the wire is either super loose or not connecting anymore I could open it up & try to fix however I dont want to wreck these speakers especially the volume control. I'm super picking on sound as I use these for games, movies & some blue ray movies. Have since upgraded to a brand new i9 machine with windows 10 64 bit. I have a good video card. However I will need to upgrade the speakers soon.. I've had them over 10 plus years & they are still going strong with exception to the control /volume control. These are logitech & would prefer to go with logitech if I can. I do need a headphone jack in the front as well of the speakers. The speakers have never crackled or anything in over 10 plus years..if you turn the bass up ..you will shake the floor as ive only done that a few times. Its great speaker system I paid I think close to $300 over 10 plus years ago. I'm looking to something close to the sound quality but wont cost an arm & a leg. I Know Linus has done videos on older parts. However I would like to see if he can get ahold of these old speakers & do a test & on comparison on these speakers to a new set ...either from logitech or another company. I know the older logitech products some are better than others. I've been trying to upgrade my speakers since the volume control cable has started to not working . It can be frustrating a bit when you only hear one side. I have also noticed that Ive had to turn the volume control up on the volume control...so either the controller is dying or the speakers are dying & im not noticing them. As like ive said I have had these speakers so long. So if anyone can give a good set .. The one I was thinking about even though its not THX are the Z337 2.1 Multimedia Speakers System w/ Bluetooth Logitech. Also can someone explain the benifits of THX & non THX ? Do many movies use THX anymore or do they use DOLBY? I'm a bit confused on the matter. Thanks, QR25DE-SER
  6. Do you have any more ideas on cases...some some reviews on it . An ok case. I also just hate the feet I know its going to be tough finding a case without feet. Hardwood floors Sometimes will be on carpet. I really appreciate the help. The case is very close now to what i want just worried about the cooling. I have seen others mod there Lian Li cases...I just dont know if its feeible to do that to mine. Plus I think trying to drill a hole in the top might wreak it unless im super careful. ? Ive seen people still using the same case, but like you said lian li cases are changing towards steel. Some are just HUGE. Any other suggests welcome... Ill be making my pick before winter. Just need 3 cases to choose from. Got one above. Two more needed. I do so love this case though its over 10 years old...my keyboard is also very old G15 Logitech.. Ive broken the the bottom but its still going. I do have a Icemat mousepad they dont make them anymore its a glass mousepad its over 10 I think years old too. Ive not seen glass mousepads in forever. I love mine... Thanks, QR25DE-SER

@TVwazhere Ahaha yup! I didn't want to overclock mine, but when I had the 4790k I pushed that baby to 5.2ghz on single core cinebench :D

  8. Hi, New to the forum been watching Linus Tech Tips with my husband. (he is into overclocking where I am not) I have a (case is so old unable to put a loop around I think they are called for Cpu (no room) -Lian Li PC-7FW Black case with front fan & back fan & window on side Running -Intel i7 3770K 3.5Ghz cpu on (one of the last Intel mbs that Intel made) -16 gigs of ram - 128 SSD Intel HD -1 TB WD Sata HD -500 SSD Samsung hd older one -Chipset for Intel 7 series /C216 chipset ? -(2) Blueray DVDRW burners -7970 Ultra 3GB Radeon video card with dual monitors -850 watt ps Issue is Ive noticed it gets quite hot in my room during summer during winter its fine (heats my room) However it has the stock cooler on it currently *Not ready to upgrade quite yet* Also not interested in overclocking Running win 7 64 bit currently as my old Autocad will not run on win 10 at the moment -When running games Fallout 4 or ESO or doing some major rendering Ive noticed the case gets extremely hot ..on top ..on the sides .. I was thinking of cutting into the top & putting a fan on the top but im unsure if that will work. Im super picky as I really like this case. I like that its easy to put drives in & such Its not huge . However with the heat problems plus I might not be able to run a higher card in it down the road even with the 7970 card in there ...the card comes right to the drive bays . Im lucky if I can get my pinky in there let alone cables. Ive had this case over 10 years. I do love it but with the heat issues. Im not sure what to do. I dont wish to upgrade however Im looking for a case that has all the features im looking for. My husband has a huge case which is super heavy to pick up. Which is not what I want. I have two options: Figure out how to make my old case better in cooling. 2nd option look for a case with all the features my lian li has...and not be huge . My case is also black in color with the window so I really do like it . Its alliumim I know that the new cases coming out are not allliumin (light) but if I have to not have alliuminmin then so be it.. What i really need is a case with 2 fans in front, 2 fans on top, 2 fans in back ..and a window or something with airflow ...also some filters & still be able to at least have 1 DVD sata if possible if not ..I guess i need to get an external but I dont want to do that either. Tooless like a lian li if possible... I thought I would ask you guys here...as Ive seen some of the new cases I like some...but Im just picky because alot of people have said they dont build the new lian li cases like the old ones & alot of people hold onto them. Hope you guys can help...Im just tried ofit being super hot in my room. Thanks, QR25DE-SER Couldnt think of a cool name.
