  1. I was thinking that but wanted to get another opinion before dropping a ton on a new PSU. Thanks, guys!
  2. Hey guys, I'm having trouble figuring out what the heck is going on with my PC. Bare with me here, I have a lot of info for you. For the last 6 months or so, my PC will straight turn off while playing some games (FarCry 6, Halo Infinite, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Satisfactory are a few) and but is fine in most others. There is no warning, there is no hang or stuttering. It just turns off completely. I play many games ranging from simple to extremely demanding and only a few games do it, on the higher end of demanding. There are no logs in Windows left behind. The problem is intermittent, I can play Halo for 6 hours with no issues one day and have it reset 6 times the next. Sometimes the computer will reset once and then be fine for several hours after. Sometimes it will reset over and over and over. Sometimes it will be the reverse, okay for a few hours then starts resetting over and over. When the reset happens, the computer will power off for a few seconds then turn itself back on. Sometimes when it resets itself (probably 30% of the time) the computer will start just fine, the rest of the time it will boot-loop. When it does that, the ONLY way to get it to start normally is to flip the switch on the PSU to the off position for a few seconds then flip it back on. When it is in its boot-loop mode, my mobo will display an ASUS code for a RAM error before it restarts. I have tried new RAM of the same model, more RAM, less RAM, different RAM, stock timings, XMP profiles (I can't remember the name of AMD's version of that tech), different slots, etc. I have tried to reformat, both Windows 10 and 11, the previously mentioned RAM troubleshooting steps, different boot drives, it is not an overheat issue, all my drivers and the OS are up-to-date, I even replaced my motherboard under warranty (at ASUS support's recommendation) but no dice. I don't have anything janky going on with my PC hardware or software. What would you all recommend for the next step in troubleshooting? 3. How much will this slow down internet speeds? I have gigabit internet so that's pretty important to me.
