  1. Yes, I've looked into many posts and all have pretty much the same 'possible fixes', which work for most users, but not for me. I tried reinstalling the software (DS4 Windows and InputMapper), tried some fixes with InputMapper, disabling the USB Input Device and turning it back on (won't work either). My PC recognizes the controller, and I can play games without the software mentioned above, but only works on certain games, and basically what I wanted was to being able to use it either on DS4 or InputMapper on Exclusive mode. Otherwise it won't work on some games or it'll register the buttons twice...
  2. Hi everyone. I've been using my Dualshock 4 controller for a few months and it's been working fine, but then one day it just left me stuck out of exclusive mode, and I can't use it properly or play some games on it. Been searching the web the past week, tried formatting my disk twice, but the problem goes on (I installed DS4 Windows the same way back when it used to work without issues). Also gave a shot at InputMapper but couldn't help either. Tried it on another computer and worked fine. What am I missing here, that's probably really obvious? I'm going mad with this situation, I've been thinking about spending 60€ on a new Xbox One Controller, but I just don't wanna do it and then for some reason this one decides to start working again. All the help is appreciated!
  3. That's a very interesting build! But what if I invest some more money on the Graphics card? Since I'm not spending on the Optical Drive and the OS, I could throw in a good amount to make it a little better, don't you think? About the English thing, I didn't know it made people feel like that lol, it's just I'm kinda obcessed with writting correctly and that's that, I guess. Cheers!
  4. Sorry guys, forgot to mention that I already own OS and a DVD drive. My bad ^^ I'm buying from Amazon most likely, or some other good online store. I live in Spain, and no, no OS system required.
  5. Hello everyone at LinusTechTips! I'm in need of some help with choosing the right components for my next PC. I am building my first computer and I don't know which components I should get. So I decided to seek for advice here. Bear in mind that my first language is not English, so this post might turn out with a couple of misspelled (or nonexistent) words. Alright, with that out of the way, let us proceed! My goal with this build is to have a fairly good and cheap gaming computer (750~900€ budget), with decent specs and also good enough to render videos and stuff in the future. A good computer overall, able to do all sorts of things, but mainly to play games current and nextgen if possible. I've searched for a lot of information on Youtube about AMD and Intel builds, and honestly I'm still not sure what should I go for. I'm not interested in monitors or any sort of peripherals for this build. Also, I'm not interested in overclocking (at least, right now), so if you recommend me for example an FX 8350 as a CPU, I think I'll leave it as it is and use the stock cooler. Unless I really need one, I think it'll be fine with the stock one. When it comes to Storage, I was thinking one SSD (don't need a big one, just fast enough and at a good price) for OS and some programs and/or games, and one HDD 1 or 2 TB. My internet is not too fast, so I won't be downloading much from Steam, 1TB should be enough though. With the Graphics card I get a bit confused, there are so many good cards out there, but the prices differ a bit between AMD and NVIDIA, and that leaves me thinking about it a lot. That said, I have almost no clue on what to get, though I'd prefer a modular PSU over a non-modular one, I hate all those extra cables just hanging there. I have no big preference for the looks of the case, a nice black or white case, not too simple though. If it has a bit red or blue here and there, it's fine too! I've considered a few components myself, but I'm not sure if any of them are fitting of my budget. I thought of FX8350, i4770k (I know, I said no overclocking, but I might do later on), 8 or 16gb of RAM (Corsair or GSkill), AMD R9 280x, GTX 770, Fractal Design or BitFenix case and a 650w modular Corsair PSU. Don't be influenced by any of these components, these were just possibilities in my idea, but I'm no expert on the matter. If you have a better balance on price and components, let me know, please! TL;DR: Gaming PC (750~900€ budget), no peripherals at all, color Black or White, Black&Red/Blue, White&Red/Blue. Need some guidance with choosing the components. With all of that said, I hope you can help me with a build, or at the very least give me some guidance on what I should get in regards to AMD/Intel CPUs and AMD/NVIDIA Graphics cards, and also a decent case, not very expensive. Thank you all and have a great day!
