I don't think that is the problem since I have tried it on other surfaces and it still doesn't work and the firmware updates don't work either.

I purchased a Corsair M45 mouse about 2 weeks ago and after about 3 days it started jumping and not tracking, I have a SteelSeries QcK mousepad which I keep clean so the surface should not be the problem. I returned the first mouse just thinking I got a defective one and received my second one a few days later and then after a few more days the same problems started happening but even worse, it won't track at all, firmware flashes/updates fail when they try and put the mouse into firmware mode and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers has fixed this. I have tried USB 2 and 3 ports on my motherboard (MSI z87m Gaming). I updated to Windows 10 after returning the first but the mouse still worked first few days and then started having problems. Is my luck just really bad or is there a problem with my PC (All other mice and keyboards worked fine)?

It's a non-removable battery.

I got my MBP '12 back from the shop today. I had put some old cheap HDD in it with OSX installed so my SSD (MX200 500gb) would not be damaged I assumed the laptop was shut down and went to switch out the drives (No fans or drive spinning and the power light wasn't on) but apparently the laptop had just been set to sleep when I picked it up. Now the it shows the folder with ? on it (OSX BSOD). Did the drive just get corrupted or is it actually broken since it shows up in windows just not formatted for windows and if it is just corrupted is there any way I can recover data, most of it is backed up but not everything.

I love my 25" Ultrawide, I was hoping to get a 1440p 16:9 display but due to limited space on my desk the Ultrawide works great.

I can't everyone else in my household uses Mac which sucks, I guess I'll just have to bring it to a friends house at some point and see if I can get it running in their system.

Just did still no output to the display and the AMD Auto detect utility still doesn't detect the GPU if I use my monitor with the iGPU. I'm guessing it died but I hadn't had any signs until right when it crashed, is this normal?

So I was just gaming with my friends when my display freezes up but I don't get a bluescreen or anything so I reboot and it seems my GPU drivers have crashed but the GPU no longer shows up in Device Manager. I have tried reinstalling drivers and booting in safe mode but nothing helps the only way I can run my display is off the HD 4600 in my CPU. Are there any other possibilities other than a GPU death and if so how can I fix it? Running two 970s won't work on that board because it is ITX and they only have one PCI-E slot, but other than that everything looks good but you'd also want to upgrade that case to mATX if you want dual 970s, I know BitFenix has a good mATX case but I forget the name right now.

Need help deciding between Razer Chroma and Das Ultimate 4
colec18 replied to Mentaltoast's topic in Peripherals
I tried Razer switches at a friends and really didn't like them, go for the MX Blues on the Das. -
Linus has a guide on it he may want to check out:

That's totally fine temp wise, a GTX 980 should be safe until around 85c, not that you want it at 85c but it would be OK at 90c. Edit: 85c not 90c.

Usually the PCI-E connectors are split 2+6 so you can use them as an 8 or 6 pin input. Also the wattage should be fine, I use a 600W Corsair PSU with a R9 290 and i5 4670k and its fine.

Have you checked the thermal paste on the heat sink that could have worn off and may need to be replaced.

If you have another PC or PSU you could try swapping the PSU to the other PC and if you have similar problems then its the PSU.
