  1. If I connect my seagate external HDD to my motherboard's USB 3.1 (10 Gb/s) it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting if I connect it to my case's front USB 3.0 (5 Gb/s) it works perfectly If I connect my phone with a USB 2.0 cable to my case's fron USB 3.0 it doesn't recognise the pc and only charges, if I connect it to my motherboard's USB 3.1 it works perfectly what could be the cause of this ridiculus issue?
  2. you're welcome, I've got plenty of help from these forums so I'm glad I could help someone else If you're not planing to reuse your old parts in the new builds I'd advise looking at this PSU tier list before picking one I'd go for 650 watts (anything higher is just overkill) in terms of storage I would go for a 500 gb ssd -I personally like the sabrent rocket it's only 80$ which is a steal for an NVME drive (decent sata ssd cost the same)- and a 2 tb hard drive (if you're okay with defiling your PC with a hard drive :p) -I personally prefer seagate barracuda-
  3. the original crisis, I don't know about portable though
  4. that PC is on the edge of what I'd consider usable If I were you I'd upgrade for these parts now Ryzen 3600 b450 tomahawk max (best ~100$ motherboard) 16 GB DDR4-3600 RTX 2060 super if you have the money, if you don't then I'd say put up with your current system until you save up for these parts. of course that's what I would do because I believe any less of a jump is not worth it, you can do whatever you think best suites you. edit: forgot to mention this but you can reuse pretty much all your other parts
  5. If your games are playable on your current PC then wait, if it's so frustrating to open a web page then just buy it now, a part list of your current PC would help us give a better recommendation.
  6. in case anyone stumbles upon this this thread I found it, it's called blade of darkness.
  7. I've been getting this error message for months now, I just ignored it because I'm not having any issues My graphics card is a sapphire pulse rx vega 56 and my monitor is a samsung CFG73 1080p 144Hz
  8. your budget is really low if I were you I'd look for an old free PC (from your house or relatives) that I can salvage some parts from like a case, fans maybe a half decent PSU that could really help you to allocate more money on the CPU and GPU
  9. yeah he doesn't remember
  10. the only versions of windows I ever used are XP, 7, and 10 I'm 70% sure it was win XP, 30% win 7

  12. It looks and feels the same but there are things that are quit different as I said before you start with one of three characters each starts at a different place my memory of the map the first character starts at is pretty good the tunnel to the front right was wide and it consists of "stairs" where each is approximately 3 meters long and 10-30 cm (6-12 inches) tall
  13. after watching the video Arx Fatalis looks and feels almost the same
  14. I played the game in 2005 to 2010 (probably 2008) the graphics weren't bad for the time if I think it was ES3: morrowind to ES4: oblivion level of graphics so I think it was released in 2000 to 2010, it can't have been released before 1995 my cousin installed the game for me back then I think using CD/DVD but I'm not sure about this one
  15. it wasn't a side scrolling game
