There are no panels for sound proofing. You need a closed and decoupled volume to get any form of isolation. So either a room-in-room concept or everything including walls, ceiling, windows, the door and floor needs to be covered with a second decoupled layer.

You might be able to make a noticeable difference by closing any cracks and holes to make the room basically airtight. But sound will still bleed from the room.

People using "lag" as a meaningless catch-all for any less-than-desired performance when lag is a network issue. "Help my GPU lags." Congrats, you've told us nothing about your problem.

mAh - A highly manipulative and misleading measurement unit for batteries that is heavily used in marketing.
Since it's heavily depended on voltage, you can easily manipulate the numbers.

You can have the same battery be both 3600 mAh,5454 mAh  and 18000 mAh .
Why? - Because different voltage  = different mAh:
    At 5V = 3600 mAh,at 3.3V = 5454 mAh,and at 1V = 18000 mAh.

So mAh doesn't really mean anything if you don't state the voltage it was measured at.

A much better unit is Wh (Watt hour),it's consistent across all voltages used with the battery since watt hour is the amount of energy you can store in a battery, while mAh is the amount of discharge at a given voltage.

With Wh you can't manipulate voltages and other variables like you can do with mAh.
A lot of laptop battery manufacturers prefer to use the Wh unit and not mAh.

Cryptocurrency is a solution to a problem nobody except criminals had, and it's now destroying the planet as well with mining farms.

I'm no expert on crypto stuff, so I don't comment on it too much, but from what I know about it, I think cryptocurrencies shouldn't exist. I just hate the idea that people around the world are trying to reduce carbon emissions in all sorts of ways, sometimes even investing large sums of money, and then there's a bunch of people burning up a huge amount of power in these computers doing nothing useful at all, just to make what seems to me like a marginal amount of profit. Power that may as well be spent to do actual useful work. Imagine all that energy being used for scientific research for instance.

Good on them. I wish more governments would do the same. Cryptocurrency is legitimately a problem when it comes to world power consumption and doesn't offer anything of value over normal fiat currency. No need to waste such large amounts of energy and resources on something so pointless. Definitely has a huge negative impact on the environment.

That might be a TRRS connection then. TRS is stereo, TRRS is stereo+mic, and while they're they same length, the placement of the connector to avoid shorting the mic would be different.

    Summary
Dashlane has announced the end of support for their desktop app to users today via email and blog post.  While current installations of the app will continue to function for the time being, no updates will be released and the link to download the desktop app has been removed from the Dashlane homepage.  After reaching out to Dashlane support, I learned they plan to add the VPN service to the web client at a future date, but is currently only part of the desktop app.

    My thoughts
Dashlane does not address the absence of their VPN service as part of the move to the web-only interface in the announcement.  For users who chose Dashlane for the inclusion of the VPN with the $59.99/yr premium subscription, the desktop app can still be downloaded via direct link here.

LMG has done ads for other companies in the past. It's a Media Group. They have the equipment, staff with the capacity, and the desire to do adverts, not just for YouTube, but other visual media as well. This shouldn't be a surprise.

AidyyJ reacted to dizmo in If Apple never made AirPods, but another company made them, would you still buy them?
I wouldn't buy AirPods because the audio quality is shit. If they made them somehow have good quality, then I'd consider them. They're apparently coming out with the second gen of both next year, and I have my fingers crossed for some decent improvements. I'd also like to see them release a black color, so I wouldn't have to pay twice as much to get them in something other than that annoying white.

I don't think there'd be a reduction in the number of people using wireless audio though. I think that's a pretty obvious route to go.

The design of the AirPod is partly functional; the stem houses the microphones.

You can get excellent SQ and noise isolation out of IEMs.
Really? You wouldn't notice that you can now hear far better out of one ear? That's rather worrisome.
