    A Script For My Mouse

So, I've been using HIDMacros to help me with my writing, making it a bit easier to hit the bold, italics, and underline hotkeys easier instead of doing finger yoga to reach the ctrl and letter keys. And since then, I've been thinking about using a second mouse to simulate clicks like "Ctrl+leftclick" (which opens up a new tab) and "Ctrl+righclick" (which opens a new window) however, the problem I'm facing is what the script is supposed to be for doing this kind of combination. I'm not good at scripting, so any help is really appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

    Using Funtion Keys For Hotkeys

So, I've got another keyboard to use as a stream deck. So I want to try and use the F1-F12 keys for certain actions. Is there anyway I can disable the function keys. I don't have the FN keys on my keyboard (an ONN ONA11HO089) and I couldn't find anything on my motherboard's BIOS (gigabyte ga-ab350m-ds3h).

Plugging a VGA cable into a CRT input

The link to the Amazon should be on the post
  5. So, I recently got a repaired monitor from a friend and we were trying to figure out how I can dual monitor. The monitor has a VGA input and a DVI input (I believe it's DVI-D.) While my GPU has an HDMI, DVI-D, and a CRT input. My friend forgot to get me the DVI-D cable, and brought a VGA cable to me, but I want to try it. Though, I'm worried I might screw up the monitor. So I am wondering if it's safe to plug in a VGA cable to a CRT input? (BTW, the GPU is a Nvidia Geforce GT 710 low profile from MSI. Here's a link to the Amazon page. https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT-710-2GD3-LP/dp/B01DOFD0G8/ref=pd_ybh_a_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=H4DD33HQMZYX50EAJWS5) Thank you for helping me.
  6. So, I decided to try and use LuaMacros because I wanted to make my own stream deck with my keyboard. So far, I wanted to try and test out the coding first, so that I wouldn't have to just hit certain keystrokes. The problem I'm facing is that I have the shift key, on my second keyboard, so that LuaMacros registers it as Ctrl + Shift, but it's not registering it. It's a short code, but this is the line of code I have set. lmc_print_devices () lmc_set_handler ('streamdeck', function (button, direction) if (direction == 1) then return end if (button == 13) then lmc_send_keys ('^{ENTER}', 50) elseif (button == 97) then lmc_send_keys ('^ {ENTER}', 50) elseif (button == 16) then lmc_send_keys ('^ {+}', 50) end end ) The plus in the line is the shift key, according to the modifier keys. https://github.com/me2d13/luamacros/wiki/List-of-Keys

    Graphics Card Choice

Well I was wondering about a good graphics card, and I wanted to turn to this forum because of good support this has given me before. So I'm basically looking for a good graphics card. It has to be a small GPU, because the case is a MicroATX, and there will be clearance issues with the cables. And a price under $100, I want to be able to run DOOM and Subnautica. One GPU I was considering buying is the Gigabyte GV-N1030OC-2GI Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 OC 2G Graphics Card. Here's a link to the Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07646VQ6T/ref=sxbs_sxwds-stvpv2_2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=6375e697-f226-4dbd-a63a-5ec697811ee1&pd_rd_wg=17vZC&pf_rd_r=JQ568WPJGX8EPDFRQ0AF&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-bottom-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B07646VQ6T&pd_rd_w=Io4FS&pf_rd_i=graphics+card&pd_rd_r=a0a9cf7d-6c9c-4c83-abcc-8281c6d52684&ie=UTF8&qid=1537484613&sr=2 If it helps, my current set up is a Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H, 8GB of total RAM, Ryzen 5 1600, Corsair CX550 80 plus Bronze Certified Modular PSU. There's currently a GPU that uses a VGA connection. It's working, but there's nothing else I could use.

    System Not Getting to POST

Okay, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it! I'm new to building computers, so I'm not a pro at it

I tried that, and it still didn't work.

    System Not Getting to POST

So me and my friend had gotten my computer put together, hooked it up to a monitor, and turned it on. Everything looked OK in the case, the fans were spinning and the lights were coming on, but the system isn't posting. Can someone help please? I'm using a Ryzen 5 1600, a GIGABYTE GA-AB350-DS3H motherboard, the correct RAM, and have a Kingston120GB storage hooked up, as well as a 550w power supply. IT all went into a Nanoxia Rexgear Predator mATX case.
  12. So I started to get parts for my first computer, and my friend helped me out by giving me a 550 Watt power supply for my build. The PSU model is an OKIA-550ATX. So my question, to get straight to the point, is: could I connect a 20-pin connector to a 24-pin motherboard? If it helps, the motherboard I chose is a GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-DS3H.
