  1. The issue is that the device (which uses a USB dongle, not bluetooth) doesn't actually show up in device manager anymore. So there isn't anything to uninstall, not drivers to update...
  2. My main mouse that I use (logitech g305) will not connect with my Windows 11 laptop. I've tried plugging the usb dongle into other ports, computers, replacing the battery, and no success.
  3. Nope. In order to fan swap it I pretty much had to break the old fan. I'm going to try resetting the CMOS and if that doesn't work, I'm going to bring my card to a repair shop and see if they can do anything.
  4. Yeah, I feel like I would've noticed if I really scratched it. Really baffled on this, no idea why the graphics card isn't working.
  5. Is it possible that accidentally scratching as part of the PCB could've caused it to not boot? I don't think that I scratched it, but really it's the only logical explanation that I can come up with.
  6. Spread it a little bit, mostly hoped that it squished well. Also made sure to tighten everything all the way. And even if there was an issue with the thermal paste, my pc would still post, temps would just be poor. And no, at least I don't think my system has an iGPU that I can use. Ryzen 5600x on a b550 board.
  7. It's not, really. I didn't deshroud the card and ziptie a fan on. I removed the noctua fan from its shroud, removed the MSI fan, and stuck the other fan on. I'll include a picture of what it looks like. Also, I used an adapter from the standard 4 pin to mini-4 pin.
  8. So I have the MSI 3060 ti Aero ITX graphics card, and I wanted to fan swap it to a Noctua a9x14. Before doing so, I checked and made sure that the graphics card worked, and it did. I then took the card apart, and I was very careful. I took off the old fan and put the a9x14 on, plugged it in to the GPU fan header, repasted the card, and screwed everything back in. I can't think of a single thing that I did wrong during the process. After plugging everything back in and booting up my PC, the fans on everything, including my new GPU fan, started spinning, but the GPU fan seemed to be spinning at max speed. The system did not post, and I'm pretty sure that it's related to the graphics card. Is there anything that I could do to fix this? Or anything that would've caused the card to break during the process of taking it apart and swapping the fan? Also, if there really isn't anything that I can do, is it possible to RMA a card that has been opened up and fan swapped to MSI?
  9. Thanks, sounds like I should be fine. It's just used to describe the type of small form factor cases that have the motherboard and graphics cards separated into different chambers.
  10. So I'm currently working on a build in the Velka 3 case, which is a pretty small sandwich-style ITX case. I need some more storage in my system, and although the case does support one 2.5" SSD, I would rather use M.2 storage if possible. However, my only option for M.2 mounting is at the back of the motherboard (I already have one installed in the front), which is right behind the GPU, and the GPU is too thick to allow for me to add a heatsink to the SSD. I'm using a 3060 Ti Aero ITX card, and I'm expecting it to get fairly hot (70-75c) under load, and I'm worried that an M.2 SSD installed right behind it would thermal throttle. I'm just planning on using the drive for storage and some games, so will it throttle? SSD I'm planning on using is this.
  11. So I got a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50xBT headphones to use with my PC, but I've been having some issues with windows bluetooth. When using them by myself just to play games, listen to music, and watch movies or videos, they work fine. But when I join a call, if I then switch to a video, the audio for the call stops. I figured out that there are two different sound profiles for bluetooth, which are Hands-Free AG Audio, and Stereo. Stereo is what I generally use to watch movies or videos, play games, and listen to music. But I realized that if I wanted to be able to play a video or listen to music while in a call without the call audio stopping, I needed to use the Hands-Free AG Audio. This works fine, but the only issue is that the Hands-Free AG Audio makes everything sound awful. The sound quality is much worse when using the AG audio and I'm not sure how I can fix this. Please let me know if you have a solution.
  12. Shoot - just realized I mounted the card wrong the first time. Remounted it and temps are fine, and I'm putting slim fans under it, but the PCB and backplate are still bent. Should I still worry?
  13. Oh that could be the case, I'll check.
  14. I dont see anything thats pulling it down
