    That makes sense. I remember that being a huge issue when star citizen launched with crazy requirements.

    Thanks for that build list! Definitely could save me a little bit of cash. That's a really good point of future proofing. It looks like we're going the way of higher core count vs. clock speed so it may be advantageous to pick a build with one of the suggested 16 core builds. Yeah I'd be worried about SLI in a mini-itx config. Guessing thermals have gotten better since my last build, but not much better.

    Thanks guys I'll check it out! That build looks like a good start, but I'd probably adapt it to the suggested case. It's gorgeous.

    Not a troll, just trying to understand the high end custom gaming segment. I've never built anything over 2k, so I don't really know what I'm working with. First time in years I've had the opportunity/space to have a desktop. My last build was a 3770k with a 7970 so I'm really not current. I'm looking for MicoATX as I move a lot and don't want something massive, though I can't find a case that I love. If anyone has a recommendation on a premium microATX case I'd appreciate it.

    I'm new to LTT forums so please let me know if this is in the wrong place or format! Basically, I have $10,000 to spend on an awesome gaming rig. I will be using an Asus PG27UQ (not included in the budget), I am looking for a smaller form factor, and won't be needing accessory recommendations. I'd prefer an Intel/Nvidia based system, so whatever suggestions you all have I'd love to hear them!
