    Negotiate the price from your friend as it's a giveaway card. I would do the switch if your PSU is fine with it. It seems you will not lose any money or lose little to non for extra performance.

    If you're not happy with the price you will have to pay after selling your existing GPU then don't.

    Here's a reference list to see why this disparity between programs is happening, some developers probably didn't bother updating their programs so they were showing the wrong value, they should show the Real Clock instead

    Effective Clocks:
    GDDR3 = 2X Real Clock
    GDDR5 = 4X Real Clock
    GDDR5X = 8X Real Clock
    GDDR6 = 8X Real Clock
    GDDR6X = 16X Real Clock

    Edited my previous post to fix a mistake, but yeah it's impossible to damage your card with overclocking because you have no ability to adjust the voltage, you will get crashes but the card will recover normally after as long as you don't set the overclock to apply on startup

    Yes it is likely that Furmark is just not stressing the memory enough, and it is more likely that the memory reading is an effective clock value, the actual value of 1500Mhz would be 750Mhz in that case and that sounds more reasonable.

    voiha reacted to Alex Atkin UK in Is my purchase going to be outdated ?
    As WiFi 6 is not finalised yet and WiFi 6e probably wont be for another 18 months, any router right now could "technically" be considered outdated.  So if you need to get one, probably not worth worrying about that, its not going to magically stop working.

    In my opinion if the router still does what you need it to do, then its not out dated.

    WiFi 5 or wireless AC as its known is a very mature standard. Its been out a while and should be rock solid. Hell Ive seen people post that they are still using Wireless N routers, which is pretty old at this point.

    As @Alex Atkin UK posted, WiFi 6 is an emerging standard. Its not 100% finalized. Hell not sure what's happening in your corner of the world, but here in the US the FCC is looking to add 6GHZ to WiFi and WiFi 6 is probably going to have 6 Ghz added to the spec. My opinion is this, wait for the WIFi standard to mature before buying in to it. No reason to pay early adopter pricing for a product that isn't finished. Id say in a year maybe 2 WIFi 6 will be something id consider buying. As it stands I think Wireless AC was out for at least 2 or 3 years before I bought an AC router.

    I'm not really sure but that's probably because both iGPU and dGPU in laptops use the same output stage with all that's required, while dGPU and iGPU on desktop have their own separate output. But don't take my word on that, never tried to do that on my previous Intel PC and now i have Ryzen without iGPU.
    PS: this is called 'artifacts' not 'fragmentation', that's why Google can't find you anything relevant probably.

    The two keyboards I mentioned are 60% keyboards (well.. Ducky One isn't a specific keyboard, but rather a range).
    At least the big advantage with the Ducky boards is that they use high quality keycaps, which make the typing experience a lot different.

    Personally I have a strong dislike on how Reds feel, Browns are a bit better. But personally I am more of a 'clicky' fan.
    But that's my personal opinion, so do not let that influence how you feel.

    Try out Browns and Reds and see what you prefer.

    HyperX Alloy keyboards feel pretty good for a consumer keyboard.

    voiha reacted to Noah0302 in Mixing same model RAM with slightly different CL and MHz
    I mixed Trident Z 3466 CL16 with 3200 CL16.
    Applying XMP, it set both to 3200 automatically. Works without a single hiccup.
    OCing the them to 3300MHz works, but I had to apply higher voltage.
    Your mobo should set them to the frequency of the slowest stick when applying XMP and it should work normally.

    Now to the CL issue.
    A 3200 CL16 kit should be able to run 3000 CL15 easily.

    The important things are brand/model, speed, timings.
    It's recommended to get as many attributes as close as possible.

    In this case the CL16 is mostly due to it being 3200mhz. In theory it should work just fine.

    You should always try to match the same ram together. That said it should work but with the frequency and timing of the lowest ram, 3000MHz CL15 in that case.

    Don't return the GPU if it's on such a good price, the games are mostly CPU heavy in Fortnite (oof)  you may see a bump in performance. Personally I wouldn't stress myself with OC, but if you have overclockable CPU then a minor OC seems just about right. The bottleneck you may experience would be more of the RAM/HDD (if you don't have SSD) than the CPU itself.

    Razer shouldn't really even be a consideration- their products are fairly mediocre and don't provide much quality for the money.

    If OTG isn't locked then the next issue you'll need to check is how much power you phone can supply (example when you charge another device through OTG) and for this one you'll have to test it I guess.
    For ROOT, Android by default doesn't support NTFS file system, probably the one on your hard drive, so depending on if there is a way to access NTFS storage without Root access, you might need to root the device.
    Give this a try " https://techpp.com/2015/06/25/how-to-enable-ntfs-support-on-android-with-without-root/ " I just found it so I can't confirm if it works or not as I always root my phones.

    Worked at Administrative building for a company as a IT support/administrator. They called me one time that one of the working lady that did their documents had faulty/broken PC and she couldn't operate. So I'm rushing through the cabinet and start investigating thinking it's something big maybe something fried from the last thunderstorm (last night) maybe it's something else. Nope....the cleaning lady turned her monitor off while cleaning..and she couldn't understand what was the problem. Turned her monitor on and did a roll backwards while facepalming out of the room.
