  1. Seems ok, thank you very much for your time
  2. Man I was hoping to help?my bugdet is 1100€
  3. I really doubt that I will edit videos. Mainly Photoshop and Cad. Nono, I mean 1200$
  4. I'm from Italy, no, I do not want any peripherals or monitor. And what do you mean by software?
  5. Hi, I want to build an AMD pc. My budget is 1200$. I'm going to gaming on the machine, and maybe do some photoshopping. So I need a 60/70% gaming machine and a 30/40% working machine. I am terrible at bulding pcs, especially with all the new things that are coming out. Anyone can help me?
  6. I've recently broken the Razer Hammerhead Pro V2. Doing it simple, they've stopped working and the only way to make them works was by bending a bit the jack. But, as you have deduced, it broke right in the corner of the jack, where the wires are soldered. So I was thinking about resolder the wires, but as you know is very challenging for ear phones, they are all coated. What is the best way to do it? What's the best way to solder those wires? Please avoid "buy new ones", "you avoid the warranty" or so on. Thanks
  7. It's only my opinion but...wtf mate DO NOT CUT the wires! I know that you already know the risks of a shortcut or even destroy your motherboard if the wrong wire touch the chassis of the psu case and the case of your computer. You can destroy and burn things so just don't do it! Well, you can do it but 1. You need to be very careful and 2. What if in the future you will need a cable that you just cut off? Just don't do it, in my opinion you only need to do a well cable management.
  8. Yeah, the VS sucks a lot, it makes a lot of strange noises, I've actually changed the fan of the psu to a corsair one. I've made a lot of research on the internet, and you are all right: the time spend and the money are not worth for a diy project. It's more convenient buy a modular PSU unit. Thanks for all the advices!
  9. I know the risks of opening a PSU, I know. I simply don't know how to start, i don't know if simply cutting the cables and add molex and 8 pin connectors is the way, or if it's more "clean" to open tbe PSU, cut the metal in the shaoe of tbe connector and create a "real" modular power supply.
  10. PineyCreek yeah, todays momotherboards gives the same voltage on every fan connectors. If it is not like that, you need to see the datasheet of your own motherboard.
  11. You know if your lag comes from a usb device like keyboard or mouse? Try writing a new name on a folder, do you lag? If it is, it's your keyboard. Try change usb port or cleaning it. Same thing with the mouse.
  12. I dont know if you can, because when you turn on the pc, the button is pressed only for a short period of time, and with that button in the photo you simply press it forever so i don't think it may work.
  13. I think that the AIO pump can be connected in any cpu, pump or system fan connector on every motherboard. You should plug it in the most comfortable spot for you. It's better, in my opinion, if you plug the AIO pump in the CPU_FAN1, and the case fan in the PUMP_FAN1.
  14. Maybe you can try to reinstalling it. I know it's 100 Gb download but it may work. For me, that I've got the same problem but for the menu, it worked fine. Before doing that, you should try open Rainbow with Admin privileges, or see if the keybord is configured optimally.
  15. Hi, i was thinking about how to mod a non modular power supply, the Corsair VS 650, to a modular power supply. I have already see a topic about this but all it says is "You better buy a modular psu", "it's not worth it", "you can burn your entire city", and so on. I know that is a pretty hard work to do but I want to do this project only for personal fun, and nobody can't stop me by doing this. So, is there anyone who have done this before? How can I do that? I'm pretty good at electronics so I was thinking about open the psu (already know the risk), cut the wires and crimping them to the various connector, 24 pin, 8 pin and so on. Can anyone give me an advice about modding a non modular psu to a modular one?
