SenKa got a reaction from TechyBen in This Phone lasts an ENTIRE WEEK
I would absolutely kill for a phone like this with 2019 specs.
Imagine say... a rugged S9+ with a genuine week long battery. That would be the perfect phone, imo.

SenKa got a reaction from Squid04 in DEAD THREAD: Possibly dead GPU. Looking for advice..
Before you pronounce it dead, DDU and reinstall drivers. If that doesn't work, reflash the VBIOS. If that doesn't work, it's probably dead

I've posted quite a few stories here, and I make it a habit to post one every time I see this threat bumped to the top. Soooo, here we go!
This was my freshman year, and I had a potato ass laptop. It was an Acer Aspire 4710, and I had to run Lubuntu because I wasn't very Linux savvy at the time, needed a light weight OS, and it only had XPDMA drivers ever made for its hardware (My schools network was made in such an bass akwards way that only Win 8, Win 8.1, and Mac's could properly log on. As well as Linux machines).
I pull up TOP in the terminal because it was lagging out hard and I wanted to see what was up. The amount of stares...
I was a renowned hacker from that day on, despite my best efforts to shut them up because I knew literally 0 coding other than basic Linux commands. Thankfully I was never asked to "hack" anything, only help bypass the schools content filter and cheat on tests.
That same laptop also nearly caught on fire in my backpack after it turned itself on and cooked itself.

SenKa got a reaction from Werdoe in Looking for Laptop
All 3 of the laptops you mentioned have their issues.
The XPS has some strange driver issues as you said, but those can and will be patched in the coming future. I had an XPS, wasn't a fan of the build quality. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't confidence inspiring having it in my backpack.
The Zenbook has thermal issues, touch-pad issues, and other strange anomalies in the design that make it unworthy of anybodies purchase.
The X1 Extreme has issues with simple inconsistencies. For some reason, lord knows what, lenovo decided to have multiple OEM's for the Trackpad and Keyboard, which leads to some very non-satisfactory experiences if you dont get a good set. I've seen people try 4 different models at random and not get a good keyboard/trackpad combo. I am a thinkpad guy at heart, but cannot recommend the X1 extreme.
Though, being a thinkpad guy I am going to recommend another thinkpad! The X280, to be exact

SenKa got a reaction from Laniakea in Is there a forum where I can share my picture and get opinions?
Never, ever take opinions on the internet with anything more than a grain of salt. That is a fast track to low self esteem and other self-esteem related mental issues.
When it comes to looks, the only person you need to make happy is you.

SenKa got a reaction from Daristed in Is 520w for a rtx 2070 enough?
My own experience and opinion on the S12II.
In the 2 years I've owned it I have never experienced any random shutdowns/crashes/weirdness. I do know its an older design and I'm possibly risking overall life span of my components, but if it was a genuine issue Seasonic would have issued a recall or even a warning statement. Nothing from them, and nothing in my own experiences means my own opinion is that of atleast okay-ness.
Will I be buying a new one ASAP? Yes. I want cablemod cables and they don't make them for the S12 II.
Should anybody else buy one? Probably not, if the internet is to be believed about what is mentioned above.
Do I regret buying mine? Not a bit.

SenKa got a reaction from Tristerin in Found This Case But I Dont Know What It Is!
And I do believe the side panel window was modded in, the fan holes look like they were cut with a hand tool up close.

@TristerinHere you go! Dont crucify my cable management too much, this is a temporary build until Zen 3 comes out
And yes, I mounted my 120MM AIO to the side panel, its the only 120mm fan in the case.

SenKa got a reaction from kelvinhall05 in Computer not turning on need help ASAP!!
Remove GPU, try again. if it boots your GPU died. If it doesnt, keep unplugging storage/whatever else until it turns on. Whatever was removed last may have been it. Slowly reintroduce things until everything is in or until it fails again.
if it fails even when the "culprit" is removed, the PSU died. If it doesnt, aformentioned thing died

SenKa got a reaction from Johnny4990 in Samsung Foldable phone leaked
So it seems. Hell, I cracked a Moto X 2015 because I was big into tight jeans in my emo days, and I sat down at a chair that was too short (and thus, made my jeans too tight), That phone wasn't made well at all, but imagine something like that...
