This would be an amazingly good device as a rugged tablet. Ironically enough, the issue with this device is that its too small. Make it a 10-12" screen, make the battery even larger (physically, to fill out the extra size. This would up the capacity a lot too), incorporate bumpers and rubberize it, and slap on Windows 10 on ARM (and a processor to keep up with said load)

You just got yourself a Toughbook Tablet competitor.

Factually real. How much of it is human-caused and how much of it is natural climate changes as observed through our earths history?

Who knows. I would imagine most is the latter.

True showcase of the geniuses at apple.

One day, I went to my local apple store with a PowerMac G4. I wanted to test just how dumb somebody could be, and elected that this was the best way.

This PowerMac G4 had no HDD, but was fully functional. I walked into the store trying to get help as to why I couldn't install macOS.

Spent an hour and a half there laughing internally as "geniuses" try and:

Plug a Firewire 800 drive into a FW 400 only machine

Be baffled by the lack of installable medium

Be bewildered by literally everything infront of them.

Literally be unable to test it full stop for about 45 minutes as they dig a VGA monitor out of mothballs.

This was in 2016, still funny as hell.

Building a tower identical to the spec of an iMac Pro (including the monitor. Since the iMac obviously comes with one)

The iMac was almost the same price to an identical tower. And LTT even gave them the PC a benefit by choosing a cheap case, while the iMacs form factor certainly isn't.

And no, the Mac Mini does not include a screen. What does that matter?

The Mac Pro is an old device, the refresh is coming soon. As for now, its not worth talking about as nobody is buying it. Anybody who wants a workstation mac is buying the iMac pro.

It wont... But if you need that much horsepower then you should have never even looked at Apple... All software that would even think of utilizing a setup like that doesnt exist on macOS.

Apple is aiming for content creators and productivity, not quad GPU compute beasts for... I'm not sure. CAD?

Also. That doesn't qualify Apple as weak sauce in specs. The top end MBP already has more power than most people would need. The iMac Pro is a content creating beast, especially in its formfactor. Even the lowest end MBP (2c/4t, 8GB RAM, iGPU) is plenty for the majority of people who don't expect to use it as a portable workstation...

That is infact not a windows power saving issue. That would disable functionality without unplugging the device (making the unplugging sound).

Your device is almost certainly the culprit.

First, uninstall the device drivers from Device Manager and reinstall them from NetGear's website (Download them first! Imagine disabling your internet only to not have the drivers to reenable it)

If that fails, contact Netgear and arrange an RMA.

    Welcome to the forums!

The quality of laptops really depend on the laptop itself.

All companies have some bad eggs, and most have some good ones. I have never used a laptop newer than 2013, save for a MBP 2017. Overall quality between said 2017 MBP and my current laptop (Thinkpad X201 Tablet) actually feels pretty similar. Thats an age difference of 7 years between two high end laptops, both solid.

I can't say for certain if you would see the full brunt of Zen 2. Supposedly it would bring PCI-E 4.0, and we are unsure if that would bring a revision to the slot that would allow a Zen 1 board to be compatible with PCI-E 4.0. We simply don't know, as TH3R34P3R said.
