SenKa got a reaction from JoBales in What Upgrades did you do on 2019 for your PC?
This year? New mouse, keyboard, GPU, monitors.

Went from a Dell office mouse to a G903

Went from a cheapo MX Red board to a razer ornata

Went from an RX 580 (died) to a GTX 670 to an RTX 2070

Got a secondary monitor again, dell Ultrasharp 24". Main monitor went from a 34" 1080p 75Hz monitor to a 32" 1440p 144Hz HDR one. MASSIVE improvements here.

I'd go 5x8, the difference in weight won't hurt the vehicle any, and worst case scenario you have another foot to fit crap in.

Have ridden in 9-3 and Malibu Maxx (product of GM buying SAAB after their bankrupsy. SAAB frame with new sheet metal), you should be fine. They are very solid vehicles. Just make sure your breaks and suspension are in good shape before you head out.

SenKa got a reaction from Ben17 in Linus said on WAN show that 30fps is preferred over 60fps among LTT viewers. Is that true?
Personally on Youtube I can hardly tell between 30 and 60 FPS, the *horrid* compression is already enough to throw me off so the frame rate means incredibly little. Is it there? Yeah. But there are far more pressing issues for me.

X1C for an ultraportable, something a little thicker if you want more power. Are you a student OP? Will you be toting it around often?

The largest issue with the X1E is that Lenovo does (or did) use about 3 different vendors for keyboard and trackpad. Out of each selection there was only 1 truly good option, and you have (or had) no control over what you got.

So, basic statistics tell us that you have 2 independent events, each with a 33% chance of happening, the chance of them BOTH happening (assuming that every option is equally likely) is half of that. You see where I'm going...

X1E has massive QC issues, or did for a very long time.

If you're after an ultrabook, X1 Carbon is a fantastic choice.

SenKa got a reaction from aSpoink in WHY does LTT not accept Brave tips?
Linus Media Group is worth a lot more than Rossman Repair. It is a far larger company and the idea that such a large, profit driven company doesn't want to risk some of their income being unstable is completely understandable.

LMG treats donations as income because they make money almost solely off their viewers, while Rossman makes money off his work and treats youtube as a hobby. Two different business structures. Nothing against LMG, but at the end of the day thats how it is.

False. nVidia drivers are not blocked from macOS, you can install them just fine. The issue is they have not been updated. That is both nVidia and Apple's faults, though primarily nVidia.

Reasons for the Mac Pro being expensive:

    Assembled in USA
    Intel price-gouging Xeon's
    ECC DDR4 price being inflated
    Fantastic build quality
Fully modular designs are more expensive
Gen 1 product (we pay R&D. Same as with Galaxy Fold)
macOS License baked in to price
Dual 10GBe NIC (even on base model)

There is more, but I honestly CBA to repeat myself.

You have to multiply it by 2, which is ~2133MHz.

You need to enable memory overclocking in your BIOS, DOCP is a good place to start.
