Let me give massive props to Lenovo for doing something recently that I am unaware of another company doing. They offer free, digitally downloaded recovery media. Apple does not willingly do this anymore (though I have managed once), Dell and HP require payment, and I have not seen another OEM even offer it. Lenovo now has its spot back on my list of recommended vendors due to such gracious steps towards making repairs that much easier.

Will I still be using my Macbook Air for school? Probably, as the difference between a Haswell LP dual core and a Skylake one simply is not worth the troubles I have with Windows.
